The House voted to rescind the time limit on the ERA.

What will the Courts Say.

If no - do you think, it will be brought back up in Congress as anew amendment?
Will 38 States/Commonwealths approve it?

The time limit ran out decades ago. Have to hope courts would uphold clear reading of constitution, but nothing is certain.

If I understand correctly, outside of the states having a constitutional convention, you need approval of two-thirds of the house and two-thirds of the senate and then two-thirds of states to change the constitution.

Hard to imagine that happening with any issue.

peace to you

I don't think that anyone wants the ERA anymore. The House can pass a lot of junk because they know that it is an election year and it will die in the Senate upon arrival. The Dems are desperately searching for single-issue voters to cobble onto the Democrat Party voting bloc but probably the ERA people are already Democrats. Biden has cognitive issues and Harris is not at all likeable in any respect and everyone knows that she will soon be President if Biden wins the election. ERA won't save Harris, who was a terrible choice by the Democrats.
