What are the essentials of the Christian faith?

A recent thread on where Mormon martyr's go when they die has generated many replies. This should be a no brainer as they unfortunately go to Hell when they die. John 14:6 is quite clear on Jesus being the only way to salvation and Mormons have another gospel (Gal 1:8-9). People this is not a debatable issue. I know there are lots of false teaching on the BB but the essentials of the faith must not be one of them!

That other thread was a great example of people showing grace to one who was sincere in a question, and receiving explanations instead of getting kicked for saying to ask a question.

I am glad that the thread received so many responses. If you look at the responses, they are unanimous. Every single response (IIRC) stated that Mormonism does not allow an entry into heaven.

Well if what you say is correct then I am happy that the essentials are not debatable on this board. Lots of false teachings here, you just never can tell.
