Congresswoman praises Castro and Che Guevera.
Radical black power congresswoman Diane Watson praises Fidel Castro and Che Guevara. Calls Castro a “genius” and praises Guevara for “kicking out the wealthy.”

Video is shown on a number of sites but would not play on my computer?

http://michellemalkin.com/2009/08/2...em-castro-guevara-who-kicked-out-the-wealthy/

Though video won’t play but here are her remarks as transcribed by Michelle Malkin:

“WATSON: You might have heard their philosophical leader. I think his name is Rush Limbaugh. And he said early on, “I hope that he fails.”
Do you know what that means? If the president, your commander-in-chief, fails, America fails.

Now, when a senator says that this will be his Waterloo, and we all know what happened at Waterloo, then we have him and he fails. Do we want a failed state called the United States?

And remember: They are spreading fear and they are trying to see that the first president that looks likes me fails.

Now just understand what’s at the bottom line.

And you know we just got, 48 hours ago, we just go back, we were in Beijing, China, Hong Kong, China, we were in Taiwan, we were in Guam, we were all over the Far East.

I just want you to know: People look at the United States as a country that has changed its way and has elected someone from Kenya and Kansas, I’ll put it like that.

And they’re saying, “We thought you would never do that.”

So we don’t want to have this young man, and he just turned 48 — we want him to succeed, because when he succeeds, we regain our status. We regain our status.

It was just mentioned to me by our esteemed speaker, “Did anyone say anything about the Cuban health system?”

And lemme tell ya, before you say “Oh, it’s a commu–”, you need to go down there and see what Fidel Castro put in place. And I want you to know, now, you can think whatever you want to about Fidel Castro, but he was one of the brightest leaders I have ever met. [APPLAUSE]

And you know, the Cuban revolution that kicked out the wealthy, Che Guevara did that, and then, after they took over, they went out among the population to find someone who could lead this new nation, and they found…well, just leave it there (laughs), an attorney by the name of Fidel Castro…”

I have heard that lack of response indicates the report is true. Could this be the case here?

O is a marxist. Just look at the background of the czars (tsars if you prefer) he has surrounded himself with.

I am plumb disappointed that neither MP, Snow, nor alatide have not donned their suit of armor, mounted their trusty steed, and rode to the aid of this damsel in distress. Can it be that the age of chivalry is dead?

Boy that's a stupid statement. The Tsars or Czars if you prefer were the imperial leaders of Russia before the Communist Revolution. The communists over threw the Tsars to seize power.

http://www.white-history.com/hwr60.htm

The two uprisings in Imperial Russia, in March and October 1917, are together known as the Russian Revolution. The 1917 revolutions were not however the first attempts to overthrow the Tsar: the 1825 revolt against Tsar Nicholas 1 and the 1905 revolution, which ended in the Bloody Sunday Massacres in St. Petersburg, were evidence of a dissatisfaction with the Russian state going back decades.

So by calling members of President Obama's administration "Czars or Tsars" you are saying they are "Anti-Communists." Comprende?

There is the fallacy. That is not what is proposed. Most people would keep their current plans. Plus it is also fallacious that government cannot run things efficiently. The postal service is a quasi-governmental agency, that all in all, runs pretty well. Its issues have more to do with changing technology than its inefficiency. The government does many things well...protects us from foreign aggressors, builds and maintains great highways, pays social security checks to seniors, etc.

I heard a good analogy...Having a public option doesn't mean you can't have private insurance. We have public universities, yet private colleges and universities thrive right along side them.

I am retiring from the postal service Oct 30th with 36 years in the federal government, about the last 65% of that with the postal service. I am not a carrier or clerk, but maintain their computer, networking systems, and various sorting machines. Where you assertions totally break down is that I see, on a daily basis, how the postal service is run, and it is not "pretty well." For all the technology, they have trouble getting a letter across town in three days. Management could not lead their mother to go out to eat with them.

These are the same people that want to manage health care? The Postal Service is not a life and death issue. Health care is. Why is it that all those supporting this Chinese fire drill equate government control and compassion? Where did that come from, either in the Constitution or common sense? If the government had compassion on, and served its citizens, it would not keep spending us into obivion and intruding into our lives stifling individual achievement and dumbing us down.

No doubt that the health care system could be improved to bring insurance to more folks and stopping the greed, fraud and abuse of the lawyers, insurance companies, and medical industry. However, the answer is not the government. The answer is to think outside the box with fresh ideas. The government has only one solution. Throw money at it, with the same tired, old incompetent people. Democrats mess up, and we replace them with Republicans. The Republicans mess up and we replace them with Democrats, and the endless cycle of failure continues. You constantly painting a picture of a great divide between the two does not help. What difference does it make if Bush pushed through a 780 billion dollar stimulus, or Obama pushes through a trillion dollar stimulus. It is the same old solution. Throw money at it, run by inepts.

Your two compadres on this thread are so wrapped up in the Democratic agenda they cannot do anything but point fingers at the Republicans and say, "see what they did." Maybe following the Constitution as a model and coming up with a new direction would help. Your present ideas about health care will only make a bad situation much worse. We promote the general welfare, not guarantee it.
