How many Mediators are there between us and God the father?
ONE Mediator, the man Jesus Christ (1 Tim. 2:5) because only HIS sacrifice brings peace between us and the Father.

However - we are ALL called upon to be INTERCESSORS (James 5:16, 1 John 5:16, Rev. 8:5).
STUDY your Bible . . .

Those alive....
Can you show me a verse in Scripture that says those in Heaven were kicked out of the Body of Christ??

While you're at it - can you show me where the Bible says that Rev. 5:8 was just a "joke" and that the Elders in Heaven are NOT interceding on our behalf??

I’m tired of reading the arguments here and MarysSon is clearly mislead by a lie by Satan and I would suggest true believers of Christ do not answer a fool according to his folly. Jesus is the only one who hears our prayers and mediates for us with the Father.

He is our great High priest and Mediator, and he does not need any help from mary or anyone else in heaven!

Then, tell me what the Elders are doing in Heaven in Rev. 5:8.
While you're at it - why don't you also tell me what the Angels are doing in Rev. 8:4-5.

I eagerly await a response from either one of you . . .

Does Jesus need help to be either High priest or Mediator?

There is NO such Church as the "RCC".

If you are referring to "Roman" Catholic - this refers to the Liturgical Rite - NOT the name of the Church.
There are some TWENTY Liturgical Rites that comprise the Catholic Church and they are ALL in full communion with each other. They include the Maronite, Byzantine, Melkite, Alexandrian, Coptic, to name a few.

NONE of them are "Roman" Catholic - but they are ALL part of the Catholic Church, which is the official name. So - maybe you should do your homework, as I suggested earlier - and you won't continue to make these types of blunders . . .

PS - The Catholic Church was started by Christ - not a mere man.
On the other hand - ALL of your Protestant sects were started by MEN from the 16th century forward.

Your church is almost-universally called 'ROMAN Catholic". And it was NOT started by Jesus. If Peter was the first pope he didn't know it. In fact the first 5 men the RCC recognizes as popes didn't know it.

As for the Immaculate Deception, that false doctrine was first formulated at the Council of Ephesus in 431. However, it didn't become official RC dogma til Dec. 8, 1854, in pope Pius IX's Ineffabilis Deus. article of faith.

IT CANNOT BE FOUND IN SCRIPTURE, even in a Catholic Bible version. That fact alone makes it false.

Same peter said that Paul was Apostle to the gentiles, just as he was to the jews, were there then 2 Popes?

PAUL was a much-better papal candidate. He was celibate, he founded many congregations, including one in Rome, & he preached to people of many races & nations. But no catholics recognize him as the first pope. (And for THAT matter, SCRIPTURE doesn't recognize the office of pope or cardinal !)

Paul wasn't appointed to lead His Church - Peter WAS (Matt. 16:18, John 21:15-19).
