Lots and lots of roaming Rabbits in the area. You see them all the time, on the road smashed, playing in the grass, sitting down, and having a meal. Its difficult to get away from the Rabbits in Colorado and in the same way its difficult to get away from the false teachers whom are multiplying like the rabbits. There was not as many false teachers back in South Carolina as here, so it must be the area. I mean SC had lots of Arminian churches but they are orthodox.

I have done my part to try and stop some of these false teachers and to get on with the Biblical program. One church I called and spoke to the lady pastor, I emailed, other churches I have emailed or called, and recently I ran into The Church of Christ at a booth trying to recruit people into their fellowship. Unfortunately this was the type that believe Baptism was a requirement for salvation and after much attempted reasoning it got me no where and it turned into an argument.

The ICC is bad news and I tried to warn others about the false teachings of this group but people did not listen.

Anyone had any dealings with the ICC?

Lots of groups and denominations use fear to control members, this has been going on for thousands of years.

Consider that you are in the heart of "enemy territory" where pot is legal, the "People's Republic of Boulder" is just up the road, and the capitol city is a den of sin surrounded by a state that is conservative and traditional. The "rabbits" tend to bunch together.

Young people get deceived because the generation/s before them mostly did not follow biblical instructions on how to raise a believer's child.
they don't know what their older generations believed, and what their older generations were all about.
some young people probably grew up hearing their "Christian" parents mock others in church, or even their pastors, while eating dinner.

Exactly! But my area of Colorado is all liberal. The conservative part is hours away from me. Sin is much more open here than in SC no doubt. Yes the rabbits do all bunch together (not that real rabbits always act this way).

So what do you suggest I do about it? I do believe to be out witnessing however I do know that God brings in the elect to salvation and He may or He may not use me. But I take the Great Commission seriously.

Not it's not. Forty minutes south is Colorado Springs, one of the most conservative cities in the nation.

I don't know. I've seen some pretty sneaky rabbits.

A rabbit with horns??

No, a jackalope. I'm not sure if any scientific research has been done about their migration patterns. I would figure there is grant money available.

Possibly we could start a thread for those that have actually seen one, therefore determining in which states they are most prevalent and what BB users might be at greatest risk of an attack.

What does that have to do with theology? I use the word rabbits as metaphors of the false teachers.

Evan, you are too funny! And Th isn't bad either.

We're on a rabbit trail for sure now.

Let's see, the Bible refers to some wicked people as being snakes, foxes, dogs, swine etc. but rabbits hasn't been mentioned in the pages of Holy Writ representing false teachers.

... one of the very rare sightings in which the observer also had a camera ... not to mention PhotoShop.
Explain. My computer is running slo at the moment and I hate seeing all the absurd ads.
If you had Firefox with Ad Block, it wouldn't be a problem!

Thanks Dconn for posting this, it shows your deep concern for your fellow BB members.

If I'm not mistaken that photo is of the Northern Plains variety, so if Evan is in Colorado he should be looking out for one exactly like that.
