Can you chapter and verse that one??? I mean really, where does the Bible (HOT or GNT) say that the son's name is Yeshua? I see Iesous in the NT. You could make a typological argument for Yehoshua. But you think this Aramaic name is the end all be all. Do you have Scripture to back up this tradition?

Only you would have taken that verse seriously. Once a member of our church who is a newscaster had a chance to ask Phil Donohue where on earth did he get his guests from? Because when God called Himself "I Am", it was not Yahweh. The names of God and Jesus Christ are not idolatry. I do believe that you are making the name issue an idol though.

Because when God called Himself "I Am", it was not Yahweh. The names of God and Jesus Christ are not idolatry. I do believe that you are making the name issue an idol though.
