No. The igneous on both continents to be the some 300 million years. Decreasing in age going down to the Atlantic trench with the newer igneous rock coming up.

There is no need to argue, you can argue with scripture!... Brother Glen:)

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

I know your saying that, but that is not what it says happened.
How does my understanding deny God saying let there be light on the first day? It does not. The Sun and Moon and stars being made visible on the fouth day is what happened.

The same type of flood fossils on two continents separated over a believed to be 300 million years?

Well you go on believing that I won't, I'm, Y.E.C and KJV... Was when I joined and have heard all the untruths of creation since I've been here and in all that time never changed either, belief or the book it came from... Just the same old song second verse, the scientist I follow don't question creation, they marvel at the God who created it... For those who are tired of listening to this poppycock and think like I do I got a book recommendation for you... Brother Glen:)

What is interesting to me as we study the story of the flood, that it is not just in the Bible that the flood is known... All cultures speak of a worldwide flood, now the names and those involved in it may change but how many witnesses do you need?... Also I hear those on here say, and brethren I've been here a long time, God wants ALL mankind saved?... Well if God wanted ALL mankind saved, why did he destroy ALL but eight when he destroyed the earth and ALL the inhabits on it the first time?... If God wants something doesn't God get what he wants?... God makes up his own family and no one stands in his way... The reason any of us are here today is because God showed his loving saving mercy to the first eight... Brother Glen:)
Those God saves are like Noah, they found grace - favor in His eyes.

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

The same thing for us who get saved, we get the grace and are then to be saved, scripture tells us a lot about that grace that we find as it say this
2 Timothy 1:8-9
New King James Version
8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God,

9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,

The fossil record shows the flood was global. Having the same fossils and order on both sides of the Atlantic being dated from the Atlantic trench the same. Some 300 million years.

That didn't explain your question to me. So again, what is the reason for your question?

If you want an excellent more modern account, read: 'The Genesis Account: A Theological, Historical & Scientific Commentary on Genesis 1-11' (first published in 2015, now in its fourth updated printing in June, 2021)

Written by Jonathan D. Sarfati, PhD, F.M. author 'Refuting Evolution', 'Refuting Compromise', The Greatest Hoax on Earth?' and 'Refuting Dawkins on Evolution.'

Quite outdated! Don’t read it like the Bible.
Be open to new interpretations.

It’s been almost 60 years since it was written...
There have been some major changes in how Young Earth Creationism interprets Genesis since then.

I’d encourage you to read Tremper Longman and John H. Walton’s book, The Lost World of the Flood (2018).
It will reinforce some ideas and open up some others.

Rob
Do they though deny a literal understanding of the genesis account?
