John's first chapter is extraordinary chapter, because if Moses wrote Genesis of the beginning of the world and its life, John on the other hand wrote Genesis of time when absolutely nothing was created or existed, except the GOD Father. This chapter is the Genesis of Christ, Son of GOD.
John 1.1-5
1. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with GOD, and the Word was GOD."
~ Beginning does not mean very beginning of GOD'S existence, because GOD Father has no beginning or end, but it is beginning of the Word - Jesus Christ, Son of GOD, Whom GOD created as the very first of all His creation (Isaiah 43.10.13) (Colossians 1.15.18) (Hebrews 1.1-6) (Revelation 3.14).
~ First and Last. Jesus called Himself Alfa and Omega (Isaiah 48.12) (Revelation 1.8.17, 22.13), because He has beginning and the end, He has been created by His Father GOD, but GOD Father Himself does not have beginning or end, no one created Him, He is eternity - eternal, from everlasting to everlasting (Psalm 90.2).
~ Mirror Image. Son of GOD is the mirror Image of His GOD Father and has the same appearance and mind of His Creator, perfect Mirror Image and Copy of His GOD Father (2Corinthinas 4.4) (Colossians 1.15, 3.9-10) (Hebrews 1.3) (Revelation 3.14, 22.13).
~ Word is Power. Why Son of GOD called as "Word?" Because GOD Father gave all His powers to His Son and through His Son GOD Father created worlds, mean Spiritual and Physical worlds.
Word - means Power, Rule, Command, just like command of the master or the order of the general, which generates action, and this is equivalent of how GOD issues His Commands by His Word (Jesus Christ): "Then GOD said..." (Genesis 1), means, gave Order and by the Power of His Word (Christ) Who created worlds.
3. "All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being."
Jesus Christ as the very first Creation of GOD Father created worlds by the Power that His Father gave Him. This means that Jesus Christ is the Creator and Ruler of the Spiritual and Physical worlds (1Corinthians 8.6) (Colossian 1.16-17) (Hebrews 1.2).
This also means that it was the Son of GOD Who created the Heavens (Spiritual world) and the angels and then the Earth and the first man. Word-Christ made the first World Flood in order to renew humanity, and after He Word-Christ chose Abraham and created out of him the nation of Israel. Word-Christ lead Israelites through the desert and established them in the land of Canaan.
As exact representation of His Father and His perfect Image and Copy, Word-Jesus Christ represents His Father in everything that created: in creation of the Spiritual world, in creation of angels, and in creation of Earth and all humankind. This proves again and again, that the GOD Father and His Word Christ Are One, and They Both share the Same Holy Spirit, They Are One.
