The Gospel is Conditioned on Christ's Finished Work Alone

No, God has not misled me.
God does not mislead but the men that you have followed have
I trust God's Word. What I don't trust is the false gospel proclaimed by folks such as you.
If you trusted the word of God then you would not be following tat man-made religion.
I have believed. The Holy Spirit granted me the gift of faith in the finished work of Christ.
There you go claiming that God gave you faith.
God did not believe for me; however, God the Holy Spirit did regenerate me and granted me the gift of faith in the finished work of Christ on my behalf and granted me the gift of repentance of the dead works that I had been trusting in.
If God had to give you faith then He has believed for you as you did not any faith of your own.

That is the man-made religion that you follow Ken. It is not biblical and you are promoting another why of salvation.

There is no saving faith unless God grants it to His elect.

Silverhair, your views sound very much like the Pelagianism of the Church of Christ I was born and raised in, and didn't leave until I was 43 years old.

Sounds like you think you don't need to born again by the Holy Spirit, as you mistakenly believe that you can birth yourself spiritually.

The Bible says differently than your false idea. Silverhair, your self-glorying is not good.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?

Then you have not been paying attention to what I have written.

How many times do I have to quote the word of God regarding salvation before you actually believe it?

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes,

Rom 10:13 for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."

Rom 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

The difference between you and I is that I actually believe the word of God as written and you have to twist those words to fit your man-made religion.

I truly feel sorry for you Ken as you have been mislead into believing a false teaching based on pagan philosophy.
