Last night during the debates, I listened to several different views regarding the current illegal immigration problem! During this exchange between several of the candidates, I came to the opinion that there is definitely an interesting oxymoron (of a sorts) going on when I hear the words, "Law-abiding abiding illegals aliens!" voiced by these candidates.

How can people who came over our borders illegally, be considered law abiding when the very first thing they do is break the law?

And for those on this forum who object to, or try to minimize the fact that these people broke laws by coming here, let me share just a few of the US Codes/laws that these "Law-abiding; illegal aliens have broken, just by being here and working here and setting up a home!

https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/8/1325

https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/8/1324a (applies to all employers hiring illegals)

https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/8/1324 (this law would apply more to those politicians trying to make it possible for illegals to remain in this country)

And this is a memo straight out of the US Attorneys Office: http://www.justice.gov/usam/criminal-resource-manual-1907-title-8-usc-1324a-offenses

They broke the law to get here. We can't charge them in perpetuity for breaking said law and being here. They aren't breaking any other laws than the initial laws that they broke to get here. Hope that helped explain things to you. I however think you just wanted us to be impressed by your line of thinking and you didn't really want to know or care to know how they could be law abiding.

Again, your absurdity is showing through! If I break one law, the most important law to becoming a citizen, why does that not count?!

Did you not even take the time to read the codes/laws they did break? Next time, read the links before you send off a scatterbrained response!

Secondly, thanks for reading my mind, oh master of thoughts!

Well that's not surprising! Of course that happened, but few people will stop to think about it like you did.
