The one western that I always enjoyed both as a child and even now is “Hopalong Cassidy.”
Over sixty episodes, good clean gun fights that kids can see the right is always honorable, and I really like the little end when William Boyd talks to the kids.
Why would someone want anything less?

The Searchers is number one, as that movie influenced so many. from David lean, to Spielberg, to Lucas!
Someday, I would like to see someone brave enough to do a real Western based on this great man. The true Lone Ranger.

Well, I watched it all today. Pretty much the normal hit-and-miss for me. Some things I thought were funny and some not. Glad I have finally watched it after hearing about it all these years.
I never found it worthy of watching the first time I saw it.
I forgot about that one.
I was in a warner bros film with jaimz woolvett from unforgiven.
