The Growing Right-Wing Terror Threat

Are you surprised? I am not.

THIS month, the headlines were about a Muslim man in Boston who was accused of threatening police officers with a knife. Last month, two Muslims attacked an anti-Islamic conference in Garland, Tex. The month before, a Muslim man was charged with plotting to drive a truck bomb onto a military installation in Kansas. If you keep up with the news, you know that a small but steady stream of American Muslims, radicalized by overseas extremists, are engaging in violence here in the United States.

But headlines can mislead. The main terrorist threat in the United States is not from violent Muslim extremists, but from right-wing extremists. Just ask the police.

In a survey we conducted with the Police Executive Research Forum last year of 382 law enforcement agencies, 74 percent reported anti-government extremism as one of the top three terrorist threats in their jurisdiction; 39 percent listed extremism connected with Al Qaeda or like-minded terrorist organizations. And only 3 percent identified the threat from Muslim extremists as severe, compared with 7 percent for anti-government and other forms of extremism.

anti-government extremism is not the same as conservatism. Why exactly are we labeling these people as "right-wing", except for the fact that it feels good to the "left-wing"?

ROFL. Oh Jedi, I have been in much more dangerous places. But it is obvious the extreme right-wing is not immune from committing acts of terror.

Wow. Thank you captain obvious. The extremist are capable of terrorism? No way!

Anyone with "extreme" in their name is capable of terrorism. Left, right, religious, atheist, anyone.

True.

But to this administration, that tag is reserved for the "right wingers".

As I said in a previous post,

These are the radicals who see one race as superior to others. Not the right wing conservative talk show host and also conservative Christians, they condemn this just as all others. But you want to label these with Christians who have no prejudicial feelings like this young man did. Conservatives who believe that the constitution guarantees the rights of every American born in this nation to worship freely to bare arms legally to work and earn a living for their family without being forced to spend it on unnecessary and unneeded items. Not just the elite political's who stir up hate and racism as a Democrat or Republican to further their cause. There are young African Americans who are doing the same things to other Americans as this young man did. Looting and rioting killing why, because the Black Political caucuses, the Black panthers and other racist groups stir them up with their liberal left leaders propaganda.

Every person on the religious Conservative right will stand against this type of violence against any person. There are radicals on both sides of the fence but you want to blame ALL conservatives for what you view as a right wing teaching that is far from the truth.

Boy, according to your cohort, SNIP, the police are the terrorists. So how do you trust their evaluation?

The moderation around this place is absurd. After all the names that Zack calls everyone else, the word tapeworm gets moderated? Zack has called people old fat witches evil terrorists and everything else under the Sun, yet he is allowed to continue. This is insane.
