Sure; you were there when I was saved almost 41 years ago, & can tell me all about it.

Oh, I forgot - YOU were born predestinated to salvation & didn't hafta bother with praying to Jesus to accept you, etc.

See my profile pic. What are those things on the side of my head? Hint: they're not elbows.

I know you just didn't one day on your own without any external influence decide to come to Jesus. I know that for a fact.

Um, I didn't say have ears. I said ears to hear. There is a difference. You really need to study up on the opposing position because you are woefully ignorant on the matter.

The external influence was reading the Bible. No one comes to Jesus without knowledge of Him unless it's some of your predestinated buddies who didn't need such knowledge.

See, the call was made to you by the prompting of the Spirit through the reading of Scripture. It was not you who did it. You were called just like every other person who is elect.

I HEARD about Jesus from my parents, but READ about Him on my own. And I chose to come to Him; He didn't come to me. I chose to get up and open the door to let Him in.

I see you had no comment on Rev. 3:20, & I doubt if you'll have any for 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

There's those little words anyone & everyone again ! And again, WHOM do they leave out ?

You're acting as if you're a poseur for some cult, pretending to be a Baptist so you can post in Baptist sub-forums. The bunk you've been posting isn't very Baptist. And you seemta know more about my salvation than I do, though I doubt if you were even born when I was saved.

    MMRRPP ! WRONG !

I CHOSE to come to Jesus; He didn't come to me.

I wasn't BORN elect; I was elected by the "vote" of Jesus after I came to Him.

I did comment on Rev. 3:20. You have to have ears to hear. And 2 Peter 3 is taken out of context.
You took it out of context so...

The London Baptist Confession would disagree.... You should probably study Baptist history.

I know what the Bible says about your salvation and it is not what you are saying.

    Sorry, that's not biblical.

No, nothing was taken outta context. Those verses & the words within them mean what they say. And you know nothing of MY salvation.

Calvinist bunk is found in "reformed" Baptist churches & in some SB churches now. But it's still man-made & false.

Well... let's just pat you on the back for your spectacular choice!
You went to Jesus, got his attention and convinced him to save you due to your excellent choice.
Great job robycop3. You're a better man than I am.
