Ya might ask Logos if he'd seen that edition with that preface page. He has read and/or examined many KJV editions.
The 1611 translators saw themselves as building upon Bishop, Great, Geneva Bibles, and revising and correcting them, and expected future translators to do same to their work!

I visited a church last night that boasts, "The Holy King James Bible is our authority and guiding principle." In which I will reply, "Thank God for that!" The KJV is all I ever read and anything else is equivalent to speaking in unknown language!

Interesting that the bible cults just accept the Kjv!

The KJVO myth has absolutely NO SCRIPTURAL SUPPORT, even in the KJV itself. The whole KJVO myth is a product of man's imagination.
