The Incarnation of Jesus [from Dougcho new member]

Do you know what the opposite of God is?

You're worshipping the wrong god.

Choose this day whom/Whom you will serve.

That's not saying much for The Eternal Triune Godhead, is it?
I view your comment with abhorrence, indignation, and contempt.

The tribulation Jesus predicted took place as reported by Josephus, an eyewitness, as KY says.

Your tribulation disappears in Jesus.

That was in Jerusalem, A.D. 70.

If you weren't infinitely wrong, maybe yeah.

Satan has you hooked by fear.

The fear of God is the beginning of Wisdom.

You are fearing nothing that is ever going to happen, except Satan being loosed for a little season before Jesus Returns to separate the sheep from the goats and that is The End of Time.

Satan will be loosed "to deceive the nations" is all Revelation 20 says about that.

No, you're not talking about Divine Attributes because you have exalted the devil above the throne of Heaven, which is reminiscent of Lucifer. Just stop. He's got you roped and tied.

Gracious gestures from you, as always, canadyjd. Here, Here.

While you are infinitely underestimating the One and Only, True and Living God.

In Revelation 20, Satan is Doomed.

Did you miss that?

If so, what could have caused that?

Perfectly applicable as the fulfilment of Jesus' prophecy.

There isn't another.

Oh, looks like I'm going to Hell for sure!

My Goodness, I'm not saying that Satan is equal to God, but I know you know that…..
Well, I don’t know that, but perhaps I’ve misunderstood you.

This is from your post #62:

No, I'm not talking about divine attributes, I'm talking about power to destroy, just pure destruction as only Satan knows how to do.

Of course Satan is no match for God, but his power of destruction is. I guess we will see when the limits are lifted.
Here you stated that Satan has the “power to destroy” like no one else knows how to do.

You then stated Satan’s power of destruction is a match for God’s power of destruction.

The first gives Satan more destructive power than anyone else (even God?)

The second claims Satan’s power of destruction is a “match for” (equals?) God’s power of destruction.

So, it appears to me you are claiming Satan is equal to God (or perhaps surpasses God) in his power of destruction.

I find the statement very problematic and suggest you reconsider this position.

If I have misunderstood, please show me how.

peace to you

I know, I'm a Satan worshiping heathen. I suppose all you can do is pray for me.

OR…. You can just explain why the words you posted don’t say that Satan is equal to, or even surpasses God, in the power of destruction?

Don’t put words in my mouth and don’t presume to know what I’m thinking.

FTR, I don’t pronounce people saved or unsaved. Not on this board, and not off this board.

Your doctrinal beliefs are open for discussion on this board. You made the statements, didn’t you?

peace to you

Remember me in your prayers, canadyjd.

Welcome aboard, Dougcho. We are glad to have you.

Here's something to consider. The "Immaculate Conception" is not a Protestant teaching. It's a Catholic teaching. Catholics believe that Mary was born sinless from her sinful parents and that she never needed a Savior. That's false, of course. They need that false doctrine so that Jesus could be sinless.

When referring to the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ, the "Virgin Birth" is the correct term used.

Oddly enough, there are Protestants who believe that only fathers pass down sin to their children because how could Jesus have been sinless and had a human and sinful mother? That's a false idea, too. Her being a virgin made the birth miraculous and her sin not passing to Jesus made the birth miraculous. Jesus is definitely the biological child of Mary and the OT predicts it in Genesis 3 that the "seed" of the woman would crush Satan's head.

Also, Jesus Christ IS the Word of God. Revelation 19:12-13 = "His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Lastly, Jesus is NOT a created being. The Holy Spirit did NOT create Jesus.

Sin does indeed pass only through the man. It’s called “traducianism” and easily proved by Scripture.

Regarding Christ, He has always existed in the Godhead, from everlasting to everlasting.

Ok, now I know. But you do realize if you hold those 5 points you will be considered a Calvinist.

But I see you don't claim that title, so I know not to refer to you as a Calvinist.

But others won't know that unless you tell them like you have me.

If one is PB, Primitive Baptist, they are not only Calvinist, but he or she is hyper-Calvinist. I grew up in a Hardshell Primitive Baptist environment. I know their beliefs.
