Direct challenge to you, carpro: show us where I ever used the word "hate" to describe my attitude towards Rush Limbaugh.
OK. Just as soon as you point out where I said that you said that you hated Limbaugh.

I know this is one of your favorite tactics , but two can play your childish game. ;)

On the other hand, you did say Limbaugh is a "thrice-divorced drug-addicted, chicken hawk hedonist", indicating that you love him like a brother, I suppose.

Hate is the right word. There's no denying it.

You're kidding, right?

Your hate of Limbaugh and incorrect assumptions that many of us are dedicated listeners, as you are, are laughable as well as incorrect.

There you go - now provide me with the quote where I ever stated that I hate Limbaugh.

This stuff from the most inflammatory poster on these boards, BiR you're amazing.

Ah, yes: carpro simply introduces words, phrases, etc. into a discussion and attributes them to me, yet I am the one who is "inflammatory." Interesting....

What is it about you that drives you to condemn people's viewpoints, while always painting them as "foolish"?

Well, that post wasn't directed at you, but thanks for asking. Carpro has shown in more than one discussion that he cannot respond to anything without either implying that I believe something when I haven't addressed the point, or simply invents viewpoints and assigns them to me. In the particular case you are addressing, he made the fallacious claim that I hate Limbaugh. That is not something I have thought, said or written.

The idea that you "used" to be conservative, and now are a liberal, shows a great change in direction, for the worse.

Nope, I simply had an epiphany, and realized that my right-wing rhetoric didn't really sound Christlike.

It's not worth "asking around" as it's not important, at least to me.

You cared enough to direct two posts at me. Sounds like you care more than you imply.......

Regards,
BiR

That's what makes your childish game so much fun.

I didn't say that you said you hated him, which is what you asked for.

Try again.

The fact that you attacked Limbaugh personally instead of his politics indicates something a little stronger than simple dislike. I believe hate is the proper word.

A point worth noting is that "hate" is YOUR word, not mine. I never used the word, yet you felt compelled to interject the word into the discussion.

And I didn't attack him, I simply stated fact. He is indeed all of those things.

Hate is an accurate description of the tenor of your personal attacks on Limbaugh.

You don't like it? Tone it down.

You keep using that word - and it's YOUR word, carpro.
Even the most casual observer knows this to be true.

And you think your fallacious left wing banter does?

Well I don't, but I have this insatiable desire to fight evil wherever I can. :saint:

More so than the right-wing rhetoric I used to spew.

Well I don't, but I have this insatiable desire to fight evil wherever I can.

Ah, so with carpro the word introduced was "hate," and with you it's "evil." Interesting.....

BiR

Politicians that have an "epiphany" are usually faking it for political purposes, like maybe Mitt Romney, John Kerry, or Hillary Clinton. They can't be trusted.

On the other hand, if an epiphany is generally defined as a "sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience.", I'd like to know what event caused your "sudden intuitive perception" that turned you from your brand of conservatism to hard core liberalism?

Just curious.

Easy answer: I started listening to myself, and the caustic right-wing banter I was thinking/writing/saying.

So, by responding to my comments, you are "fight[ing] evil?" Wow: I think you have everyone beat with that one.....

Despite that, I trust that you and yours are well,
BiR

Doesn't sound like an "epiphany" to me. Sounds like you just let your true self take charge, meaning you never were really a conservative at all.

Well, if it "doesn't sound like an epiphany" to you, then I guess it wasn't.....
