The January 6 Insurrection Hoax

Yep. If it was not for politics it would never have been called an insurrection. I doubt many really believe it was.

A protest that got out of hand is a very generous label. I saw a police officer getting beat. That isn’t violent? We don’t really know what would have happened had they gotten their hands on one of the targets. Downplaying what happened is not helpful. It can’t happen again.

There was violence too so by his own definition he’s wrong and I suspect he is aware of this.

The video in the OP is not denying something happened on 1/6. It's denying it rose to the level of being an "insurrection." And yes, there was some violence. But was it really at the level that the MSM, Pelosi, and her ilk make it out to be? The Antifa and BLM incidents come to mind in comparision.

Downplaying what is happening by blowing up this protest all out of proportion is much more than unhelpful, it is betrayal. Yet this is what the present administration, the Dem party, and their MSM are up to, have been up to.

Note that phrase “our democracy”: Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, and various talking heads have repeated it ad nauseam. But you do not need an advanced degree in hermeneutics to understand that what they mean by “our democracy” is their oligarchy. Similarly, when Pelosi talks about “the people’s house,” she doesn’t mean a house that welcomes riff-raff like you and me.

The central fact to appreciate about Donald Trump is that he was elected president without the permission, and over the incredulous objections, of the bipartisan oligarchy that governs us. That was his unforgivable offense. Trump was the greatest threat in history to the credentialed class and the globalist administrative state upon which they feed. Representatives of that oligarchy tried for four years to destroy Trump. Remember that the first mention of impeachment came 19 minutes after his inauguration, an event that was met not only by a widespread Democratic boycott and hysterical claims by Nancy Pelosi and others that the election had been hijacked, but also by riots in Washington, D.C. that saw at least six policemen injured, numerous cars torched, and other property destroyed.

A parameter should have been drawn, established and then been defended by riot police with clubs, tear gas and rubber bullets and yes at some point live ammo. I would not have hesitated to use it if they broke the parameter

I guess I’m just amazed at how easily we accept this.
I don’t… not one bit. Rather, I’m ashamed that citizens of the USA would even consider breaking and entering into the countries capital building. I just crack it up to the nations low life’s having a get together.

From the reports I've read, they deliberately did not prepare for handling what they knew would be an enormous crowd, intentionally leaving no one to defend a perimeter.

Also, they deliberately did not prepare for the few bad actors they knew were planning to breach the building itself. Unless you count aiding and abetting as preparing.

Indeed, it appears they were essentially escorted at certain points, as if they were being given a sightseeing tour.

I’m sure they were let in too. Trump seemed to be energized by the event.
