The Man on the Middle Cross

You have clearly denied the word of God and have embraced the doctrines of men, that elevate man

BF we have been over this many times and your view has not changed. You hold to the teaching from the 4th century.

If you will not trust the written word of God then I am sure you will not trust mine.

Thats what I thought your faith believed about Christ, he only made salvation possible, falling short of making salvation a completed reality.
It is not a reality for those in unbelief.
I don’t view God as out of control of His power. He can make an atonement for all sin while not applying it to sinners in unbelief.
God is able to have leftover ability.
Your view is akin to God doesn’t have any more cattle on a thousand hills than exactly what He absolutely needs.
My view is that an invitation has been made and yet there is room.

Yours is the engineer perspective, the glass is larger than it needs to be; mine is that the glass is half full.

It is perspective. In my opinion, your perspective does an injustice to the ability and power of God.

And I’m still waiting for you to answer my question.
Does Jesus have to die again for the ones He did not die for, since He said He is able to graft them in again?

I know you don’t have an answer.

But I’ll wait.

Thats my point, He saves from unbelief/sin . Everyone is born in unbelief and sin, in fact by nature we are children of unbelief Eph 2:2-3

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

The AMP bible on Eph 2:2

in which you once walked. You were following the ways of this world [influenced by this present age], in accordance with the prince of the power of the air (Satan), the spirit who is now at work in the disobedient [the unbelieving, who fight against the purposes of God]

The Douay-Rheims

2 Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of this air, of the spirit that now worketh on the children of unbelief:

New Matthew Bible 2 in which you walked in time past according to the course of this world, and followed the prince that rules in the air –
the spirit that now works in the children of unbelief,

Thats because the greek word for disobedience is apeitheia and its translated unbelief 4 times

Romans 11:30, 32; Hebrews 4:6, 11

So in essence you dont believe Christ saves from the sin of unbelief. If He doesnt, then who does ?

I didn’t say that.

But I keep noticing that you have not addressed when Paul said He is able to graft them in again. It doesn’t say He will. It doesn’t say that He won’t. It says that God is able. That is potential and a biblical truth that you reject.

Its implied.
Implied is something that I do.
I have not implied it.

You mean inferred. That is what you do.
And you have inferred, what was not implied.

Correct, not man is able. It depends on whether or not God has chosen you to salvation. You think the potential lies within man, but it lies within the Sovereign will of God. So again your faith believes in a potential saviour, not Jesus Christ the Saviour. Your saviour is you
My Saviour is not me.

I thought you were not supposed to call into question other people’s salvation here.
It doesn’t bother me that you are so obstinate about saying I am not saved. Your opinion is about as important as slab of granite on a garden.
It is tiresome though to interact with you.
You only avoid difficult questions and claim nobody else is saved.

I don’t really care what you believe I believe. But you do make it awfully confusing for anyone trying to follow along.
You misrepresent what I say at any turn.
Don’t you think it’s about time in your Christian walk to start showing some love to the brethren and those without.
Put away your sword. Stop shoving people away from God. Start inviting them to God.
And stop telling me that I mean something that I have not said and don’t mean.
