And i'm sure many Jews prior to Christ's first coming, if debating if there would be 2000 years passing after the Messiah has come, asked the same question, "What's the point?" (of having 2000 years pass after Christ's ascension.)This question is for Premillennialists and anyone who thinks that the Millennium is Christ bodily on earth in the middle east for a thousand trips around the sun.
The point of Christ's tarrying? That's a mystery to you?And i'm sure many Jews prior to Christ's first coming, if debating if there would be 2000 years passing after the Messiah has come, asked the same question, "What's the point?" (of having 2000 years pass after Christ's ascension.)

Once again, What would have been the point of a temporal Kingdom for Israel? What's the point of establishing a temporal kingdom?

So no pretrib Rapture as you see it, correct?I am an Historic Chiliast so I guess I, sort of, qualify.
The purpose of the Millennial Kingdom is to fulfill promises God made to the world that cannot be fulfilled while Satan is free and humans have political authority. Some of these promises, or covenants, were given specifically to Israel. Others were given to Christ, or to the nations of the world, or to all of creation. All of these will be fulfilled during Christ’s 1,000-year reign.
The Palestinian Covenant (Deuteronomy 30:1-10) will be fulfilled.
The Davidic Covenant (2 Samuel 7) will be fulfilled.
The New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:31-34) will be fulfilled.
Yes, but would they look as good on his head? They make all sorts of instruments. Their saxophones, trumpets and Tubas are particularly good.
