And i'm sure many Jews prior to Christ's first coming, if debating if there would be 2000 years passing after the Messiah has come, asked the same question, "What's the point?" (of having 2000 years pass after Christ's ascension.)

The major point is that Jess wil lfinlly be ruling in an absolute sense on his Earth, and there will be the fullness of His Kingdom on he Eath, so Mankind will enjoy life as intended by God in the Garden!
I am an Historic Chiliast so I guess I, sort of, qualify.
The purpose of the Millennial Kingdom is to fulfill promises God made to the world that cannot be fulfilled while Satan is free and humans have political authority. Some of these promises, or covenants, were given specifically to Israel. Others were given to Christ, or to the nations of the world, or to all of creation. All of these will be fulfilled during Christ’s 1,000-year reign.
The Palestinian Covenant (Deuteronomy 30:1-10) will be fulfilled.
The Davidic Covenant (2 Samuel 7) will be fulfilled.
The New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:31-34) will be fulfilled.
They make all sorts of instruments. Their saxophones, trumpets and Tubas are particularly good.

That's right. But not according to the law, which is what is in view in the Deuteronomy passage you cited.
