You have no right whatsoever to tell someone to give away the Word of God based on a disagreement with you. That was totally uncalled for.

If you claim you have a personal relationship with Christ, then you should know how He thinks about every situation in life. He told us. Otherwise, OldReg sounds like a person who never opened a bible, compared to the world it is no different. Unless you think His thoughts are only for certain subjects.

Whatever happened to calling evil what it is? Doesn't preclude us from praying for our leaders; but aren't we also supposed to be telling them God doesn't like what they're doing?

The passage I presented from Proverbs gives a pretty good definition of evil. I don't believe that God has changed His mind about evil regardless of what anyone may say!.

No, we pray to God for them. We bless and not condemn or accuse.

Yes the passage is correct, yet it does not tell you to go hate them or tell them they or wrong. In fact there are no instructions except what Jesus says. You have taken it further and assumed you must react like a worldly person.

Proverbs 6:16-19
16. These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17. A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18. An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19. A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Unlike the Pharisees I do not hold myself more righteous than God. God hates evil. in fact he punishes evil!

Who told you to punish? It's love, grace, and mercy.

Read what I write.

Did I say I have the right to punish? God punishes evil. Perhaps God is punishing America for electing this rabid abortionist, Obama, as leader. I will say this. The people of the country can punish Obama. Hopefully they will in November. God will deal with Obama in His own time.

Is it appropriate to apply the prayer of King David, a man after God's own heart, to Obama?

Psalms 109:8. Let his days be few; and let another take his office.

Thought that was directed at Judas?

David preceded Judas by several hundred Judas. However, reference is made to this passage when a successor to Judas was chosen.

Acts 1:20. For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.

Your making this up as you go along now :)
