Black income and household wealth have dropped during President Obama's two terms of office. He has talked about keeping jobs in America, but has done little to further this admirable goal.
Many sources point out that illegal immigration harms African-Americans when undocumented workers take the jobs that Blacks have traditionally held. Our current two-term president has done nothing to address this. In fact he wants to make it easier for illegals to stay here.
When talking about unequal outcomes, jobs and opportunity should be part of the discussion. Unfortunately, White privilege is the boogeyman most progressives want to talk about.
