The Nature of the Spirit Questions

Charles, your pride is coming through.
I trust God is Father, Son and Spirit because the Bible confirms this to me. I don't doubt this truth.
Is not doubting that the Spirit is Himself God just as much heresy as denying that Jesus is God?

Call me by whatever name you choose. I have questions. Does not God tell us that whatsoever is not of faith is of sin (Romans 14:23)? I can not faithfully state at this time that the Holy Spirit is God. Would you have me sin to please men? I'm very glad that many have found sound reason to believe as they do. I also believe God's word regardless of what some or perhaps many might say to themselves.

I've shared something of myself because someone had a question. The argument that men believe this way or that alters nothing when it comes to God's word.

There are a great many things that God has revealed to me and to others through his Spirit that are sure and true.

This post has taught me a lot. Some good and some not so good. I neither can solidly agree or disagree on this topic at this time does that really brand anyone a heretic or cultist or whatever other name maybe thought or expressed here. Does God really work in the same manner with everyone as some have suggested?

My only question is to why you hesitate to believe God is one being in three distinct person's. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy (set apart) Spirit. All three person's are clearly revealed in the Bible, yet you fight against the bit. I do not understand your fight. The Holy Spirit has given you enough. This is an issue where you seem to resist having faith.

To deny the Holy Spirit is God is heresy!

I hesitate for several reasons.
1) God's Spirit is described in a number of different ways throughout the scriptures.
2) There is much more to the nature of the Spirit yet to digest
and I reserve the other concerns that I have to myself.

Faith is something one can stand on assured and confident, it gives courage and boldness. I trust in God and I trust in his word this is faith. Faith also produces evidence of the unseen hand of God.
