Yes in support of the U K we did indeed bomb Germany . I have a friend who’s father and uncle were born in Germany. One fought for Nazi Germany and the other brother fought for the USA. My friends father at first was hesitant to shoot Nazis thinking they were men like him stuck fighting a nasty stinking war. Up until he participated in the liberation of the concentration camps . He saw first hand the inhumanity and brutality. So after that the American GI’s would be made to have the German soldiers strip and show if they had Nazi tattoos… most of those with the Nazi markings didn’t survive that day. And my friends father was a willing participant in those executions.
Well retreating and doing that incorrectly… but he is a civilian, what does he know. Where was General Milly and some of the military geniuses that are supposedly experienced in extraction? This is just FUBAR and nothing to celebrate.
I would, however Bush made a decision on bad information (misinformation). It was not purely political.

That Iraq had wmd's.
Bush did deploy troops to Afghanistan (along with other areas). Obama shifted focus to Afghanistan and increased our presence.
I have seen several very healthy people due of covid. I have also seen very unhealthy people survive covid.
I don’t give a pass that easily. That’s an excuse, and the buck stops with the executive holding office at the time.
I am talking about Bush starting Afghan war.
Bush did not receive bad info about Iraq WMD. He drug his tail so long they moved them to Syria. I thought the Massad documented that pretty well.

My pro vax docs partner, when he diagnosed me with Covid, told me he had seen a large number of reactions to the vaccine. He recommends I get vax, but said the decision is no longer clear cut. He said I most likely can not get Delta again and the vax seems to be extremely ineffective against MU. Who knows?
No. He did receive, perhaps not bad Intel, but misinformation. Iraq did not have or move wmd's. We now know this. It was an strategy on the part of Iraq to appear more than it was.
They had WMD. Pat Buchanan told about him and the CIA setting them up with them.
They moved them to Syria according to Israel. I believe Israel over the U S. Propaganda machine.
Unfortunately they did not. At the time it was very strange that they would have developed such technology, so perhaps we should have been a bit more careful.
But the fact is they did not have wmd's.
I can remember going up 85 near Swanee Rd one day about 4pm and thinking, you know one nuke would solve a lot of this.
Yea...I think that is human nature. "Kill 'em all, let God sort them out".
Unfortunately people that would actually do that are most likely to be on the wrong side of the sorting.
