There are two styles or formats currently for this board. The one you see may not be the default style.
I do think its funny that on a site devoted to "baptist discussions" people don't like change...

Actually, my mother's mother (my maternal grandmother) was Jewish with roots in Austria. So according to many rabbinical pronouncements I could become an Israeli citizen if I could prove my heritage.Depends...are you Jew or Greek?

It is impossible for the old to be better. The software was out of date by at least ten years and it was very vulnerable to hacking. Had Andrew kept the former software up to date everyone would have found it to be similar to what we have now.

Not a clue - my grandmother's maiden Jewish name is Sulke (with variations in spelling). The family is Prussian and located in modern day Austria, Germany and Hungary. Though they are Jewish they are a family of nobility. She came over in 1897 missing the holocaust and married an Italian immigrant who insisted the children be raised Catholic. Both my paternal grandparents were Italian immigrants who came to America in the early 1900's.
