.... I don't ask for a certain color of skin to be sent to my need! I am just blessed they arrived in a timely fashion and took care of the problem.
A few years back, I heard my back sliding patio door being kicked and pulled on. I turned on the light, and saw a Hispanic guy uan and jump under some bushes in my back yard.
With my faithful Yorkie at my side, yipping and yiping, I called 911 and dispatch remained on the phone with me until the cops arrived. Soon after hiding, the many got back up and attempted to open another window, and this was knoowing that someone was in the house. That was gall! I know he heard my dog, and he had to hear me shout, "I have a gun and the police have been called!"
Now I had a gun, and was ready to shoot if he had gotten in. This is one reason dispatch remained on line. Telling me not to take deadly force, unless he got in, and I felt I had to.
Once the cops arrived, there were two white guys, three black guys and a Hispanic. They surrounded, collared and arrested the man, who was drunk, and running from a rival gang, so I was told. And he though my house was his aunties house?
He had a knife on him, and if one of the cops, or all of them would have had to shoot him for not cooperating; it would have been just fine with me. And it wouldn't have mattered which color of skin trhe cop was so long as they squeezed off the lethal round to protect themselves and me and of course my Yorkie! All I cared about was that this man was neutralized.
That is why I pay taxes.
What say you?
