Wake up or shake up? I went to the village early and then remembered it was Tuesday and my turn to record a devotional.
So, Sheila, how are studies coming along for you and Rob? I find it difficult at times to get into the books. I have not enrolled in any courses for this winter and I need to get at it very soon. I like to take some correspondence course each winter just to keep the mind alert.
It is nice to see Turp joining the little flock.

Rob and I are thoroughly enjoying our studies, thank you. I managed to get confused and fill in a form incorectly and so have been awarded a degree, my honours will follow on completion of my dissertation. My field chair says he doesn't see why I shouldn't do an MA.
What course are you going to be enrolling for? I love the university envoiroment, have become something of an addict like a few other students there. Next February I hope to retake the Koine Greek module and see if I can improve my grade. Look forward to hearing all about the course(s) you are considering.

Leo has his op tomorrow. The wart does need to be removed and he will also have his teeth cleaned. The local branch of the practice doesn't do this, so we have to take Leo to the animal hospital which is the other side of the city to us. Fortunately Leo loves riding in the car.

Jim, I think I remember you were in the FFF for a while; one of the sane ones
! I'm supposing you eventually left for the same reason most of the rest of us did. Nice to find a few good forums left like here that the trolls haven't taken over.
Sheila, might you be suggesting that I actually spend time doing research in December?! , Welll.....OK, maybe just a bit this afternoon before work.

Yes, I think most of us have done the rounds on the various sites. I was at fff for awhile, but found the topics rather tedious and mundane. It seems that so many were bent on tearing down rather than building up....I am getting too old for that. The BB is a little more balanced. At least one can choose the areas that best suit his/her needs and wants.
Sheila, Last year I took a course on hermeneutics..old hat, but refreshing. I take my courses through the Missionary Church. Their school is in Indiana. They have an interesting correspondence course which includes a two-hour in-class session on the net,,like a chat room. All the students and the professor meet and discuss the subject. We then follow a textbook, answer questions each week and write papers as well as a final examination. The courses don't lead anywhere for me, but refresh the mind and keep me thinking.
Haven't decided on a course yet. I am still writing correspondence courses for a local Bible College and working on the Life of Christ course for them.

I posted at Rapture Ready a few times and for a short time but didn't like having to debate with people who were not Christians.

Whoops just saw your reply about Leo and question about the books, Sheila.
Hope all goes well for Leo. Dubbs had a few tiny warts but of course, he wasn't groomed.
I've got a number of Christian fiction books. I've had them so long, I forget what they are!

I have got into the habit of taking a book with me wherever I go. I have learnt to read in the car,(Rob driving, not me) and I read on the bus and in queues too. It is amazing how much one can get through.
I am really tired now. Hardly any sleep last night or the night before and we are out this evening to the prayer meeting. Got to stay awake for that.
Almost dinner time here, I will look in later,

Well, I just got back from some Christmas shopping and health insurance "shopping". When I changed jobs a few months ago, I had to find some temporary Heath coverage until I could qualify for my new job's coverage. So, had to find something for a couple more months.
Whoops! I promised Sheila I'd research for a bit before going to work, so I better "crack the books". I'll check in a little when I get off of work around 1:30 in the AM (EST).
