We could talk about the ole double-posting-Dan, but there's a new kid in the youth forum that's got him beat.

Dan can't help double and triple posting. He has a speech imped-imped-impediment. He lives in that part of New York. I once listened to the weatherman in Watertown, who was from Western NY, and I had to phone for the weather report.

Cheers,

Jim

Good Afternoon to everyone on this blessed Lord's Day.

Gib, I will pass on the Earl Grey thank you. Definitely not my cup of tea.

Roger, where did you find the green tea with vanilla? Maybe I could swap some of these green tea with lemon tea bags for some of your greeen tea with vanilla tea bags.

Otherwise I think I will have to stick to either iced water of coffee.

Are you sure that green tea isn't just black tea with green mould? I thought the only way to drink green tea was straight up without additives. I suppose that may be known as a lidl cuppa......

We all love you sergeant-major,
Bring me 'round a nice hot cup of tea,
Sergeant-major be a mother to me..........

Cheers,

Jim

We do have a few rocks in this land, Roger. The machine did most of the digging, but we had to manually do all the digging under the room and remove some huge rocks. I am 6 foot, so it gives you an idea of the size.

I am quite ready for bed come evening.

Cheers,

Jim

I better say good morning lest someone get the happy thought that I had passed on from digging that hole.

All is well, new footings in place and waiting for the dozer to push new fill into the hole...must build stairs and close in the walls.

I paid the lads yesterday. One lad actually returned and said I paid them too much. He is not a Christian, to my knowledge, but it was refreshing to experience the honesty. His pay was exactly right; I paid them for an extra hour to reward the hard work. This lad got an extra ten dollars for his honesty.

Cheers,

Jim

Forgot to mention, wife printed a t-shirt with my photo in the hole holding a shovel and the caption: I can't believe I dug the whole thing

Been doing a few things today. Finished tomorrows message from the last two verses of James 1 - the hallmarks of true religion.

Talk about conviction! Ouch!

Up early this morning, but late starting at anything. One of those days. Blood sugars low and energy along with it. One thing about it, I get to eat some sweet things.

Reading over some of the threads reminds me of my youth. The things people get excited about. It seems that either us older folk have failed to pass on the things learned over time, or younger folk just don't listen.

Cheers, and enjoy the things of God, but don't forget the world around us.

Here it is the 25th and I remain the only poster.
I have been forced to read some of the other forums, and they make me glad I am not a fundamentalist Christian, and it explains how the likes of Mr. Bush could get appointed to the presidency and then, perhaps, elected for a 2nd term.

It is a sad commentary that the citizens need guns to protect themselves and still claim to be the best country in the world. The two just don't add up.

Cheers,

Jim
