Hi Jim,

So good to see you here. You have been missed. Yes, the new computer is doing ok. Getting used to the changes now we are on XP instead of ME. It is a lot faster.

We are busy with life in general and looking forward to a week in Wales. We leave on Saturday. This time we get to take our eldest Grandson with us. He is really looking forward to it. We no sooner get home then we are off again a couple of weeks later for our trip to the US. Well, our friends don't call us the nomads for nuttin' lol.

I will try and look in before we go.

God Bless

Always good to hear from you as well, Sheila.

Croeso i gymru,,,welcome to Wales...ffrind.

I hope your grandson does indeed enjoy his time in Wales.

I am not so busy, but reluctant to post very much these days. I suppose other things occupy my mind. I have also had some difficulty getting on the board and moving about. I lose patience waiting....I guess that is what happens when one gets old.

Cheers, and God bless,

Jim

Jim,

I for one enjoy your posts so I hope you don't give up posting. I think our priorities change as we grow older. I would love to be able to slow down and I think that is why we love being in Wales so much. Our friends are now in their eighties and we quickly and easily adapt to their pace of life when we are with them and it is lovely. Yes, I am sure David will thoroughly enjoy himself there. He loved it last year and we are meeting up with friends with children while we are there.

God Bless you Jim

Sheila

Less than two days to our first church wedding - we are all excited and ready for the big day.

We too are looking forward to our little trip to Wales in a few days. I just love the quiet and pace there. It is also a beautiful country.

Thanks for sharing the pictures, Roger.

What wonderful weather for an outdoor wedding!

I did notice the groom's wedding band on the right hand. Was the bride's also put on the right hand?
That must be a regional thing. I met some people from Norway years ago who wore their wedding bands on the right hand.

The couple are Polish - that seems to be the way there.

THe weather was an answer to prayer. The foresact was for rain and it was overcast all morning. The clouds broke just as I stood at the pulpit waiting for the couple to come dwon the aisle.

We had a wonderful three days in Wales. We found a new favourite town on the SW coast. If you ever get a chance to visit Tenby don't miss the opportunity!

Hey, you're home! I like to read what's going on across the pond from time to time.

Hi Sheila,

I'm doing pretty well.

We went to Las Vegas, Nevada last week to surprise my Mother in Law for her 70 birthday. It worked, she was very surprised! And everybody had a good time.

I refused to take a second injection of an anti-estrogen drug yesterday, and the Dr found a pill for me to try. He's changing meds trying to stop the tumor-marker from going up. (the injection taken at the end of August caused terrible pain across my upper back and a skin reaction at the injection site that has not totally cleared up.)

Gayla, I hope the new meds are effective.
I have started back at uni so am being kept quite busy now.
We have been back home from our US trip for 2 weeks now. We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to a future trip, God willing.
Back to the books.
Blessings :wavey:
