Roger, it was dull and wet this morning but trying to brighten up now. Off into town to do some last minute shopping for our holiday. Going on well with chapter 4, how are your studies coming along ?

I will look in later.

God Bless

I really need to get cracking - I have been setting up a forum like the BB for my family this week. Has kept me occupied.

Did you finish chapter 3?

Roger,

Yes, I did and am well into chapter 4 now. Did you read what I sent you of chapter 3 yet ?

Yes, you really must get cracking, cos the longer you put it off the harder it is to get going on it. (end of lecture) :D Do you think I could be a lecturer ??

Blessings

Good Morning everyone. Cool and dull here. I hope the sun is shining wherever you are.

Rob and I have made a start on packing this morning. So trip must be getting close. I am finding clothes I had forgotten I had.(not difficult). However, looking at the bed covered in stuff it is difficult to believe we agreed we were travelling light this time.

I will look in later, got some last minute photocopying to do at uni and have just remembered some family birthdays next week.

Still no new grandaughter yet.

Blessings

We spoke to Cathy this morning and she says she is fine, no sign of any action yet, so looks like we have to wait for the scheduled caesarean on the 6th.

Uni is closed for the Bank Holiday, so I can't access any books. However, I may go and chat to the priest down the road.

Off to post pressie now,

Blessings

Good Morning everyone.

I hope you all have a blessed Lord's Day.

We had a phone call from friends in our old church last night and they are staying not too far away so we plan on meeting up. Sooo, I won't be around much today.

A dull, cloudy and wet day here in Gloucester.

God Bless

Thank you Roger.

I have hurt my back this morning, so I am quite uncomfortable. What at time to do something like that.

I will look in later. Off to rustle up a lemon meringue pie and some scones.

Someone once said, over a lifetime one will enjoin one maybe two friends in the true sense. Consider this thought and the fact that Jesus said, Ye are my friends.

Cheers,

We had a lovely time of fellowship with our friends today. They came to church with us this evening and then we went out to dinner. Not long got home.

How is everyone? I hope you have all had a blessed Lord's Day.

I am doing well - tired most of the time from working so many hours.

We too are expecting another grandbaby - a little boy whose name will be Andrew.

He is due tomorrow - but I'm not sure that he knows that. Last evening Kelly called - and there was no labor activity yet.

Jim - how are you doing!
Sheila - you and Rob have a great trip.
Roger - when is your grandbaby going to return to Ireland?

Where is Granny?

All is well in this little corner. Good to see everyone popping up now and then.

I already expressed my best wishes to Andrew's mum in the other room.

All the very best in your Columbus trip to America (discover and land) Sheila and Robb.

Roger, I fully appreciate your emotions with your grandchild. Mine are only in Florida, but may as well be in Ireland.

This spring, wife is taking grands to England to see a little of their heritage. I am planning to go over in the fall, providing I am allowed to travel. Mary only has one aunt left in London, whilst I have five still living in West Ham.

That granny looks as young as ever, doesn't she?

Cheers, my beloved,

Jim

Roger,

It is hard missing their first birthdays isn't it. So far all our grandchildren have term-time birthdays here.

Still no news of action from Cathy. We have a camera phone, so maybe our first glimpse of her will be courtesy of modern technology.

How is the paper coming on ?

Good Morning Jim. Do you have a busy day planned or are you "pottering" today ?

Blessings

Good morning, folks.

The best plans of mice and men......I live each day virtually without plans and just let it unfold. The Lord graciously fills each day.

Roger, I have no authority by which to open or close the room. It was just my saying that I would not activate the move to a new room when the time comes. There remains the need for a place to share the triumphs in the Lord and still sharing the day to day things we all experience. This room has certainly done that, always on a positive note. I have enjoyed that from each contributor.

I was hoping that more non-baptists would join us here and share the universality of God's love, strength and vitality.

I truly appreciate each person who drops by and shares life with us (me). This too is almost the only place I post, unless I can make some positive remark along the way.

Cheers, and God bless us everyone,

Jim
