Good Morning to you all.

A bright and sunny day here so far, but not too hot.
We take Leo to pastors house this afternoon, so that he can leave his scent around the place and let the pastor's children walk him to he can familiarise himself with the area before we leave him them Thursday evening.

I am still trying to get this dissertation finished. It is taking an age. You wouldn't believe the state of my study, books everywhere. It is one room which will not be tidy when we leave for our holiday.

Back to the books,

God Bless

Good morning to all.

It is difficult to accept that this is the last day of August. I feel that summer is still to come.

Getting ready to travel abroad and airport time alone can rob us of the pleasures of travel, but hang in there Sheila; the result is worth it. I am glad you have somewhere to leave your dog whilst you are away. That is the most troubling thing to me as well.

Roger, your trip abroad is not long off either.

I am labouring this morning to type anything folks. It is literally one letter at a time. I am delaying writing the devotional to-day. The fingers will loosen up as the day progresses.

Cheers,

Jim

Jim,

I know what you mean about the summer coming. Today is a beautiful summers day here.

I am sorry to read that typing is such an effort at the moment. That must be very frustrating.

We saw pastor and family at open door today and the children are really excited about looking after Leo. The lady who usually looks after him is away on holiday for a week at the same time as us and she will take over his care when she gets back. She has five or six other dogs, which is good for Leo as he doesn't get to see many dogs around here. His "girlfriend" is a great dane called Gracie.

We have been out shopping and I got some really good bargains, like an elephant soft toy for Cathy's baby...£20 down to £2.50 and a new valance for the bed £30. down to £3.00 so I am quite chuffed.

All for now, back to the books

Blessings

Sheila

Good Morning again to you all.

It is bright and sunny here again. The temperature is just right too.

Rob and I are busy with last minute things to do, mainly trying to organise Sam...

I will try and look in later,

God Bless

Good morning brethren. This morning in the Carpenters Chapel marks the beginning of my long look at the Gospel according to John. I hope that it will be a blessing to all who reads it. It is, after all, the Gospel for believers. At first, I was not going to start this until after vacation,
(I'll be away the last two weeks in September), but then I had a change of mind. I am thankful that we have a God that does not change, but I can now and then!
Have a blessed day!

Good morning!

Andrew Mark Kelly Todd made his entrance into the world last evening (Sept 4) at 8:09 PM. He is the son of our son, Kelly and his wife Elizabeth, missionaries with Grace Mission to Haiti.

We are looking forward to getting to see him soon!

Thanks for keeping us informed, grandpa, and all the very best to this new little visitor to earth. May our gracious Lord envelope him with His love and grace, and may all the Lord's people around him demonstrate that love each moment,,,,as they appear to do. God bless.

And hello to everyone who passes this way.

Cheers,

Jim
