Good Morning, everyone! Good to see you. The tea and fellowship are wonderful!

It is raining here, but we need rain. It really is helping our weeds grow!

I really haven't decided what to do today. Ed says since I am retired, I don't have to do anything, but laundry, cook, clean house. You know, just a few things...pay bills. Actually, he never complains if I don't do anything.

But Muffin (the dog) complains. He knows what I should be doing and he tells me about it. Right now he is asleep so I can stay on the board a little longer. Muffin that is, Ed is at work!

Hope everyone is feeling great today. I'll see you all later.

Granny - you can come and weed my garden - any time you think you don't want to be doing housework!

Dan - I hate weeds! almost as much as I hate snow!

Some of my most beautiful flowers in the back garden are weeds. If I pulled them, we would have nothing ut dirt and turf.

    Mee, welcome to the Tearoom.

    Cheers,

    Jim

This time of year is easy:
if it is green, it is a weed.

Needs to get above 60ºF for
an hour or so for real grass
    to grow. But above 50ºF
a bit in the afternoon and the
    weeds will grow.

Anytime ya ever wanna move down heah, give me a holler...but I won't go to da waters wid ya...I is skeered of dem! I almost drowned in the Pacific Ocean when I was little, & have been afraid ever since. ~rolling eyes~

    Don't like the deep-end of the bathtub & I even close my eyes tight when I go across bridges! Ain't my family had a hoot with that all these years! {sigh}

In Revelation 21:1 it sez "...and there was no more sea."

It ain't the bridges you have to worry about - it's the roads leading up to the bridges!

SisThankful! You're not gonna believe this, but when I was younger, I actually did this! I had to follow behind the U-Haul & my Mister didn't tell me what was ahead...

It wasn't till we were upon that bridge that I realized it & our car literally stuck to the bumper of that truck to get across the bridge, haha! My knuckles were white as the deathgrip took hold & my eyes were shut tight! The children were holding their breath and praying with fear...

When we got to the other side, he pulled over to check on us & to this day has NEVER asked me to tag along again-haha!

I don't drive anymore-haven't for years, but I walk everywhere...never did learn how to ride a bike or roller-skate.

Well, looks like we're in fer a bad storm tonight(hail/tornado), so I'd better go secure everything...but I shall return! Y'all be blessed.

The Weather Service just issued a tornado watch here until 3 PM so I guess spring is really here!

We are enjoying the rain, but some areas are flooding. We live on a hill so we are safe from the flooding, but probably a target for a tornado. I think my laundry room would be the safest area in the house. We do not have a storm shelter. Many people in the neighborhood have them under their garages.

Granny, I don't like to drive across a bridge either, but not because it is over water, but because sometimes the bridge is too narrow for my car to meet another car and those biggggggggg
    trucks.

Good Morning, All! My painting group cancelled because of the weather. I don't blame them, I wouldn't get out of my house either.

I'm going to rest and relax and next week get busy. I have to. We are having a family party on Saturday so I will need to sweep, mop, and dust. I had a great aunt that always said it was foolish to clean up before company...just have to do it again after they leave. On cloudy, rainy days, I can't see dust or dirty windows so I will just wait until a sunny day so I can see what I am cleaning. See, I can come up with lots of excuses to put off cleaning.

Posting on the Baptist Board is more fun!

I often quote Demosthenes when he talked about ambassadors "having no weapons but words and opportunities". That is what we have; opportunites, and we must make the most of them.

    Cheers,

Granny - if you would move to Canada - you could spend most of the year riding a sled - last I knew - you don't need a license for sleds!

Dan - promoting something I hate - cold - snowy weather!
