Yes, because if the Holy Spirit could leave us, we would not be able to grieve Him. To be forever indwelt by the Holy Spirit IS being infilled by the Holy Spirit always.
When I was sowing to the works of the flesh, the Lord still spoke to me thru the Holy Spirit in me to withdraw from doing so. I would not be able to withdraw if the grieved infilling and power of the Holy Spirit left me.
In none of my acts of repentance, there was no seeking an infilling nor power nor presence of the Holy Spirit for me to repent, because He is in me and is with me always as Jesus has promised this even in regards to Himself.
Nothing will separate us from the love of God, and that also includes nothing will separate us from the infilling, power, and Presence of the Holy Spirit in us.
No one says we "seek a filling", i am saying we seek GOD and He fills us.

63 O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water.
2 So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory.

That is saying the same thing, brother.
I acknowledge what Jesus has said but that was in regards to the promise of the Holy Spirit at our salvation.
This is also His promise AFTER you have come to & believed in Him at your salvation when you got Spirit-filled.
John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
What you are saying speaks against that promise because to thirst still is you testifying to others as if you had not received the promise yet at your salvation.
That video I shared with you earlier speaks against Matthew 9:17 of our salvation when he and you said we are leaky vessels in need of a constant infilling.
Matthew 9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
The question you need to ask the Lord is, is Matthew 9:17 a part of your testimony of your salvation or not?
1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
We'll never go thirsty because we can always come to Christ. Do you not thirst for more of God? Do the cares of this life cause you to hunger for More of King Jesus?

I believe you are missing the message of all those verses given to you. No saved believer will have a need to have a continual infilling of the Holy Ghost because they will never hunger nor thirst any more for such an infilling of the Holy Spirit after their salvation as promised.
Matthew 5
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

And how is that promise fulfilled of Matthew 5:6 ?
John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
I hunger for more of Jesus everyday. I thirst for more of Jesus everyday.

That is exactly what the Pentecostals and the Charismatics are saying when seeking to receive the Holy Spirit after a sign again and again and again. When I was exposed to the "holy laughter" movement in my aunt's community church, my cousin said that she had a hunger for more of God... for more of that "phenomenon".
You are saying the same thing essentially and hardly abstaining from all appearances of evil. You are suffering a thief to break through. When that phenomenon comes that you claim you do not hold to, know that you can call on Jesus Christ for help because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. If you wish to avoid that risk, you better ask Jesus for help to keep your eyes on Jesus in resting in Him as a Spirit-filled believer.

I think we are in good company. I'm concerned that you do not hunger for more of God, really.
There is no passage of scripture with the word "infilling" pertaining to the Spirit
The word is "filled" with the Spirit Grk. πληρόω-pleroo
Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
UBS 04914 Fulfill, Make come true, bring about... bring to completion, complete, accomplish, finish...
To be "filled" with the Spirit is to be under His control because we are in the word, in prayer, listening,witnessing, giving, fellowshipping.
That control depends a lot on us.
These things of course as we have ability and opportunity to pursue them.

No, you are not in good company when what you are saying is denying having received Him after having sought Him.
You deny the promise in regards to our salvation and thereby denying Him.
If you quack like a duck and walk like a duck, then guess what? You will have Pentecostal/Charismatic in your midst and no one will be able to tell one from the other. Add seducing spirits.... and you will not be able to prevent a Baptist from believing that was the Holy Spirit that came over them when they fall to slain in the spirit or experience holy laughter.
Matthew 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. 36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
You either testify to always being Spirit-filled as a testimony that you are saved and thus Jesus Christ is your Savior or not.

If you are going to ignore the intent of the message to defend a soundbite, then let us consider what you are saying. You are applying Ephesians 5:18 to mean for saved believers to avoid drunkenness but instead seek to be filled with the Spirit as if they do not ALWAYS have the Holy Spirit.
That is why you are reading it wrong. Someone taught you a principle and applied it to that verse for that effect rather than what the verse is actually saying.
To avoid drunkenness is being Spirit-filled as in remaining Spirit-filled with the fruit of temperance which is self control.
We are not sowing to the works of the flesh to be here on earth in the physical flesh. We are always in this fallen flesh. It is because of that, a believer is always Spirit-filled so we are accountable to what we sow towards. We are not sowing to the fruits of the Spirit to receive the Holy Spirit or an infilling of the Holy Spirit, but maintaining the fruits thereof as opposing to sowing to the works of the flesh.
All other scripture I had posted to you oppose your misapplication of Ephesians 5:18.
We are Spirit-filled so we can do those things and follow Him as sons of God.
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Cart before the horse, brother. As a saved believer, we are Spirit-filled all the time so we can follow Him or not. That is why we are accountable while we are in this fallen flesh. Sowing to the fruits of the Spirit is not infilling yourself with the Person of the Holy Spirit. Drunkenness is a past state of the works of the flesh and sobriety is remaining Spirit-filled with the fruit of the Spirit of temperance so we can follow our Good Shepherd by His power.
We are not seeking power so we can follow Him when we had already received that power at our salvation so we can..
That is not just a testimony to our salvation in having been saved by Jesus Christ when we had first come to & believed in Him to be saved at the calling of the gospel, but testify to having power always to follow Him for why we are accountable when we are not following Him..
Please stop questioning my salvation
Again it is what influence we allow the Spirit, our submissiveness to Him.
When believers practice the works of the flesh they grieve and quench the Spirit such as the church at Corinth and the church of Thyatira some of whom were committing fornication (porneia).

I am correcting your words that deny having received Him at your salvation. That means I am telling you that you are saved but your words are contrary to His promise to the after effects for which you err by believing you need a continual infilling of the Holy Spirit.
If a believer comes to you and says he has sinned and therefore he cannot be renewed again and has lost his salvation; do you see him as unsaved? No, of course not. He is merely misinformed. He needs correction so that his testimony will become a better witness of the new reality of having been saved by Jesus Christ at the calling of the gospel.

In context of the message given, by not despising prophesying as led by the Spirit to do, we are not to be "resisting" the Holy Spirit. That is how the scripture is using "quench" to mean; not putting the Holy Spirit out of you.
You keep arguing for that point and some readers out there will apply that verse to mean they can lose the Holy Spirit and thus their salvation. They cannot. Therefore what you say that there is a need for a continual infilling of the Holy Spirit is wrong.
I agree that we submit to the Lord Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit in us, but that is in according to His words; not a means for an infilling.
You keep putting words in my mouth I have not even implied we could lose the Spirit but said (did you take the time to read my complete posts?) that we diminish His influence in our lives when we grieve and quench the Spirit.
My point is that our relationship with the Holy Spirit transcends the things of this world and the way we look at them.
Our relationship to the Holy Spirit is indicated by the fruit we bear, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, self control.
On the other hand if one practices adultery, fornication, slander, ... of which apparently some believers are capable (Corinth, Thyatira) then the Spirit, though present in the sinful believer His influence is diminished to the minimum until repentance or chastisement or a home going.
