Did You Go to a Washington Nationals Game With Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh?

Trump’s pick is a baseball fan who racked up considerable debt buying season tickets. Help us figure out who went with the nominated judge.

We think it’s important to figure out as much as we can about a nominee’s background before he is confirmed. So we’re turning to you.

Figuring out who Kavanaugh brought to games could be relevant to his confirmation. It would help:

  • Understand more about his relationships and any potential questions they might raise for the Supreme Court justice.
  • Get a better sense of what went into this unusual amount of debt for a judge in his position.
  • Or maybe just affirm that the guy really does love baseball for the judicial inspiration.

We’re not sure what we’ll find. But we do know that people take a lot of pictures at baseball games. Did you see Judge Kavanaugh at a game? Did you attend a game with him? Do you have any photos, and if so, will you send them our way?

Really kind of pitiful, isn't it?

It's sickening. The best they can do is have photos of the people that sat next to him at a baseball game. If this isn't an attempt at implied guilt by association I don't know what is. It would be hilarious if they got a bunch of pictures of him with Stephen Breyer, Elena Kagen, Ruth Bader-Ginsberg, and also some prominent Democrats!

I would also like to know how one "racks up considerable debt by buying season tickets". Did they indicate where the seats were located? Even if they were premium expensive seats, let's say $250 per game, that would be $20,000 per year. I suppose he can't attend all of them and sells some on StubHub, so let's say he spends $12,000 a year on baseball tickets. Is that "racking up debt"? His salary is $220,600 per year.

Not everyone looks at $12k-$20k as "considerable". It is less than 10% of his salary.

If he suddenly had large deposits to his accounts that he could not explain, that might be a story.

Basically, it's nobody's business how he buys his tickets. He may be paying cash. How would anyone know if he used credit. It's just another way to slur the man.
