You cannot truthfully refute the Word of God, so you do what all others do, bring food into it

    Typical.

If I felt that you had done just this yourself, I'd shut up.

    Gina, and others,

If what I have said in this thread offended you in any way, take it up with my Father. I can only preach and teach and reveal that which has been given me of Him.

I am sure you have heard of Him? His name is Jesus.

Not only is He my Father, but He is my Lawyer, my Teacher, My Master and my Friend. He has assured me through the Holy Spirit (I am sure you have heard of Him also?) that His Word is Truth, that as King of Kings and Prince of Peace, He never would have drank or sanctioned the drinking of alcoholic beverage.

His Holy Spirit has shown me this truth by revealing this to me through the reading of His Holy Word.

The world partakes in the drinking of alcohol, many in moderation (social drinkers). We are in the world, but not of the world. We are to be separated unto Him. One cannot say that one is separated unto God by acting like the world.

That would make your point that if it causes one to feel a bit sleepy one is intoxicated just as totally idiotic.

As far as survival, we would have far more diseases and death without alcohol. It has historically been used to make water safe to drink, as a way of having nutrition when food would be scarce, to help heal illnesses, and it's even used to make the vanilla you probably eat on a regular basis in milkshakes, ice cream, cookies, cakes, muffins, etc.. (and many other flavoring extracts) Some injections contain alcohol. On and on.

BTW when I was reading up on this, I found that fermentation of grape juice starts immediately, with the process being noticeable after 24 hours.
For someone to carry grape juice on a journey as a gift, it would be either vinegar or wine by the time they got there. Just thought that was interesting. I had never really considered that before!

    Same to you! LOL!
I didn't read anything you posted on this thread yet, let alone addressed you.
I'll check it out later. I assume it's gotta be pretty exciting since you've taken to defending it so strongly already.

With the judgment you are judging, you, too will be judged. Please read what the word of God says. I have posted it in this thread and in this one:

The day you see me drinking alcoholic beverages, or condoning the drinking of such, or making false claims that Jesus Christ made, drank, and endorses such, then by the authority of God's Word, you can judge me as a liar.

Wrong again, corndoggy. Unless you are saying Jesus went against His Father when He said 'Judge righteous judgment.

He said we can judge righteous judgment. Righteous judgment is when the judgment being made lines up perfectly with the Word of God.

Which has been done by me, DHK, sfiC, Linda64, and others who preach the truth in saying God demands abstinence.

You cannot hold hands with the devil in this life and please God.

You are right. Since I have shared the truth in this room, you cannot judge me a liar.

You have not shared the truth. You have demanded a twisted version of Scripture be accepted by those who want the truth. Scripture has been presented to you a number of times by several of us and you refuse to have anything to do with those passages. That is very telling.

Scripture, history, doctors, scientists, and professors all refute your statements that a christian can drink alcohol wiht God's blessings.

Sorry, you are wrong on all counts. Most especially I am interested in what you have to say about the Bible material I have quoted for you. I mean, after all, I took the time to look it up instead of getting it from some single source. I wanted to see exactly what the Bible said. Have you taken the time for that? You have misquoted Deut. 32 and ignored a lot of other passages. What is your excuse for that?

Post in grace to the edification of others. See BB posting rules #3 and #4.
You are not the only one guilty of such a post. I only use this as an example. It is time for this thread to close, not only because it has degenerated it into childish name-calling but also because it has reached thirty pages in length.
