I read somewhere that CNN was mad and said they were tricked into broadcasting it. They were more angry that they didn't get to "ask questions" ( I.e., challenge the president) and so what I liked about it is that these "reporters" were shown their place and were simply briefed without any interest in their on the spot "opinions". These briefings are meant to be an update of WH happenings to "reporters" NOT an invitation to a gripe session.
