Demeaning who? I believe you are a child of God.

I seriously doubt if God showed up and asked you to do something, your going to retort with well what is in it for me.

I'm pretty confident you are going to do what he says.


The point being the priority is never "Concerning Salvation".

Indeed None of the verses are intended for the sake of "Salvation" they are about the priority of following God's command.
