The questionable Pretribulation Rapture

:D This topic is now running 19 pages long and we haven't introduced the occultic origins of the pretribulation rapture yet: Margaret MacDonalds visions, Lacunza, Catholic Apostolic Church, Ribera...sigh...

Margaret MacDonald had nothing to do with the pretrib view. If anything, her ideas would be that of a partial rapture view.

To perpetuate that lie indicates either ignorance or a need to demonize a position, just because it is different from your own.

Amen, Brother Gunther -- Tell it like it is!

Npetreley: "Either these uncountable people were saved before the rapture or after the rapture."

Before.

How many people are there?
The Bible says uncountable.
Yet in Revelation 9:16 the number 200,000,000 is mentioned.
So the uncountable number must be much more
than 200 Million.

There have been over 35,000 Million souls born
to the world in the past 6,000 years of which 6,000 Million
still live. Of them 8,200 Million have been called
CHristian, of which 2,000 Million still live.

But narrow is the way, not all who call Him LORD, LORD
are real Christians. Some say not one in a 1,000 are
real. That would leave 6.2 Million to resurrect and 2 Million
to rapture. But this is way short of the 200 Million.

If only one in eight is a true Christian, then
the figures would be 1,000 Million to resurrect and
250 Million to rapture. This would be a significant amount
mroe than the 200,000,000 yet less than those named "Christian"
for only those on God's list get to be resurrected or raptured.

Npetreley: "Really? A minority of about 1% believe that?"

You misunderstood me. I said 1% believe a union of two things,
i said "a minority of pretribbers believe the people
in chapter 7 of Revelation are those who are
saved during the Tribulation Period". Earlier i said a "significant
minority" that would be like 40-48%, a simple minority might
be 10-25%. I know, you are part of the 200% of Americans who
has problems with percenages

After that word you go off on a bizarre tangent about numbers and percentages and totally ignore the problem with your "before". If they were saved before the rapture, and they come out of the great tribulation, then they couldn't have been raptured before the great tribulation.

Npetreley: "If they were saved before the rapture,

Your logic is correct.
The hypothesis "if they come OUT of the great tribulation"
is FALSE. So the conclusion "they couldn't have been
raptured before the great tribulation" -- well it
could be true or it could be false.
So your logic is correct, according to the logic of men.

I'm sorry you are mathematically inept and cannot
follow a mathematical arguement. For there to be
an uncountable number, the rapture/resurrection must
be pretrib. If you are talking the postrib rapture/resurrection
then there is under 200,000,000 people involved which
is a countable number.

So i've got you on the meaning of "out of".
I got you on the unnumberable argument.
You want to hear the rest of my arguments

BTW, i got OUT OF work today.
I called in sick.
I never went.
I got OUT OF work.
Uncounted people can GET OUT of the great tribulation
by Jesus rescuing them BEFORE the great tribualtion
ever starts.

Because "threads" of conversation simply get so long that they begin to break up into odd tangents, we have a "20-page limit".

Nobody is going to go back to page 1 and read them all, so we will close this one down here.

IF someone would like to start a NEW THREAD on a salient point, feel free. But please do NOT start with a quotation or continuation of THIS THREAD.
