I quoted you but in truth my statement was made due to all the the whines about it. Not just your post.

Ok so people don't think about it or may see it differently than you who take it a bit more serious. Interject, present, and make your case for your position rather than complain no one else brought it up. Just because you take it that seriously does not mean others should or will.
In a poll... shouldn't those views be taken seriously???

*what kind of American are you?* ;)

(and yes - we know the word Rapture does NOT appear in the Bible - so no need to mention that.)

It's not in the English Bibles, however it is in the Latin Vulgate:

From the root stem rapio it translates the word harpadzo in the Greek.

VULGATE 1 Thessalonians 4:17 deinde nos qui vivimus qui relinquimur simul rapiemur cum illis in nubibus obviam Domino in aera et sic semper cum Domino erimus.

1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Another occurrence:

VULGATE 2 Corinthians 12:4 quoniam raptus est in paradisum et audivit arcana verba quae non licet homini loqui

2 Corinthians 12:4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

I get accused of being a wanta-be Roman Catholic because I am amillennial and now I find out the pre-cribbers get their Rapture from a Roman Catholic Bible. Does that make them a "pseudo" Roman Catholic or a "faux" Roman Catholic?

An Eastern Orthodox believer once said:

"PreTribbers will be the first to take the mark of the beast, because they're not expecting to be here. They'll never see it"
