The Realities of Socialism

If one wonders how on earth people would start leaning toward accepting socialism it is clear IMO that they have strategically taken over our education system. Therefore, we need to take our education system back!

A Cuban walks into a bar, sits on a barstool, and sighs heavily. The patron sitting a few stools away demands that the man stop spouting anti-socialist propaganda.

A Cuban walks into a restaurant. He sits down at a table and asks the waiter, “Sir, can you bring me a cup of coffee without cream?” Minutes later, the waiter returns and informs the diner, “I’m sorry, sir, we have no cream; can it be without milk?”

A Cuban lady said in 1994, “Cats were among the first to go since they’re said to taste okay. I had my three robbed from my house in January. I’ve heard of people eating dogs, those little ones that have no fur, but I think that’s the exception. They say dog meat tastes bad, and you still see plenty of stray dogs. Most people have drawn the line there. So far.”

Castro did very well in military capability, stopping crime, and foreign espionage. Where Cubans were left out was with breakfast, lunch, and supper.

Had the pleasure of seeing "Havana Music Hall" a few weeks ago. If this comes to your area, take the time and go see this amazing musical, which captures the essence of the Cuban experience under the "Revolucion."

Here is a synopsis - "Havana Music Hall’s best known band is on the rise in a thrilling, creative 1958 Cuba. Husband and wife team Rolando and Ramona Calderon are on the verge of breaking through to the world’s stage when the Revolution tears the only world they have ever known apart. Almost sixty years later, we find the duo trying to forget the past in the now devastated Havana Music Hall, but others won’t let them. Havana Music Hall's story captures the pain and joy of the Cuban experience like nothing before. "

The brutality of Raul exceeds that of his monster brother Fidel and the repression has increased lately. Some people are still in prisons for not properly mourning the death of Fidel. Princeton Professor Stephen Kotkin, the American expert on Stalin, ranks Stalin as the worst monster in the history of the world but per capita the Castros may be worse and they are still in power. Aligned with the Soviets and now allied with Putin as well as China and North Korea, everyone is waiting to see the relationship of Mexico under AMLO to Raul.

Socialism is not benign! The Dems are socialists and they are on a crime wave of violence.
That depends, Scandinavian Socialism is somewhat benign.

Also when "push comes to shove" as Christians we ought to be able to live under ANY government and still glorify God as a Daniel (for instance).
I will however still legally resist communism. Socialism as well, progressive liberalism also.

Sweden has always had a free market economy and never was a socialist state although they had big welfare. Now they have too many jihadists and they are nothing but a crime wave. Malmo is very dangerous and has so many jihadists living there that Swedes expect the name to be changed to something nightmarishly Islamic. Sweden is a pit.

Churchill was one of the giants of the 20th century as well as a lover of Cuban cigars.

And this is what he said socialism:

“The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.”

Socialism is benighted.

Mammon is an unrighteous god. Luke 16:9

The Democrats have no compassion for anyone. They want to grab political power but keep their own money. With government control of the economy, the Democrats think that "they" will command unrighteous mammon. Socialism always leads to famine. No one wants to work for less than market wages, which is what the Democrats are demanding.

The Democrats are attacking the USA because they want to steal for themselves. Socialism always attacks a wealthy country because socialists cannot steal from a poor country.

Socialism in the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Norway, Sweden and in many other countries is not extremist. We already have socialism in the U.S. (Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.). Unbridled Capitalism leads to inequality. As Gordon Gekko said in the movie "Wall Street," Greed is good." We need to have a mixed approach which takes the best from Capitalism and Socialism.

Communism is a radical form of socialism. The emphasis is not so much on economics but rather on absolute dictatorship which crushes all the rights of the individual. Rightfully so, we've fought wars against Communism and continue to do so. Millions of people have been killed and millions more have been subjugated by Communist dictators like Stalin, Mao tse Tung, Khrushchev, etc. Russia, Red China, N. Korea and Cuba are Communist states. Most of our allies and in fact the free (meaning non-Communist) world have a blend of Capitalism and Socialism. These two positions are radically different.

Communism - The Marxist governmental philosophy adapted as best as can be to the targeted culture.

There you go again! I don't think that you know the difference between a welfare state and socialism.

The UK, France, Italy, Germany, Norway, and Sweden are all free market or capitalistic states with big welfare budgets and big government. They are not socialistic, although Germany and Italy were before and during World War II. Were you thinking of Nazi Germany?

We do not have socialism in the USA. That is another one of your bonkers arguments. Social Security and Medicare are paid for by the recipients. Now if you want to call them a pyramid scheme, okay. As for Medicaid, in case you are that ignorant, it is medical welfare so that everyone in the USA gets medicine. As for your mixed approach that would be like trying to get a cross between an automobile and a skateboard. Only you would want something like that so why are you not moving to a socialist state such as Mexico which just elected a communist President who takes over shortly? You could live like a king down there!

And then you contradict Marx or was it Lenin or was it Stalin who said that the purpose of socialism is to bring about communism. It turns out that socialism also involves the absolute dictatorships that are the earmarks of communism. And no, we don't have any socialist allies in the free world. Socialists like you hate capitalism and want it destroyed. You hope to keep your money but you want to strip money from everyone else and give it to your pals. You live on easy street as a retired engineer so you want socialism like everyone else on easy street. It is a cheap way for you to get rid of the common man. The American welfare state is twenty-two trillion dollars in debt but you think that you can make everything free, take control of all corporations, and make everyone as poor as an illegal immigrant. You should head for Switzerland now. You want big government and total control over the means of production. You want people to work for nothing. You do not want to pay people what they are worth.

Actually, you are attacking Christianity because you think that you can control unrighteous Mammon and make Mammon do what you want done. Just how do you think that you can control the god of money when no one in human history as ever had a successful socialistic state.

Merry Marxmas!

Yeah, can't really elaborate much on the above post - socialism and communism do have similarities but socialism is meant to be an economic system that implements marxist economics but also can co-exist with capitalism, whereas communism is both an economic system and a political systems that tolerates neither capitalism nor anything non-communist - one political party, no private ownership of land under the commies, for example.

Those messy European countries are just democratic republics with a massive welfare state with no need for a military force, or they were. There is no dictatorship, which you need in a true socialist state, since most of their ideas - government controlling all means of production, price controls, wage freezes and the like, will cause an underground alternative market to exist that must be crushed.

It's always been the primacy of the state thing that freaks me out the most about communism and/or socialism - think about it, if socialism is the government controlling production, and communism expand that notion to government controlling everything, then the citizen - YOU - are just one of the other means of production. Pass.

I can't argue against this because this whole thing is irrational and ridiculous.
