The Record Theory - Final Authority and Final Canonization

John Alden brought a KJV Bible to America on the Mayflower.

John Wheelright quoted from a KJV Bible in a 1636 sermon

Noah Webster collated the spoken English language
and produced his famous dictionary.

Webster's dictionary is a monumental contribution to academics.
Webster's 1828 dictionary matched the KJV Holy Bibles.
This simple historical fact clearly demonstrates
the obvious source of American language.

Webster's bible is a monumental display of foolishness.
When Webster altered pure KJV texts with "better" words,
his pride produced diminished KJV texts.

KJV Holy Bible
2 Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures,
which are able to make thee wise unto salvation
through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Webster's Bible
2 Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the sacred scriptures,
which are able t o make thee wise to salvation
through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

The Record Theory independently answers the questions of final authority
and final canonization (books and words).

The dynamic Purified Text Theory supports the Record Theory,
demonstrated categorically and conclusively in the manuscript evidence,
bible canonization, bible doctrine, billions of bibles
and computational linguistics.

While the entire line of scripture are records,
the outstanding record of scripture and the scripture of final authority
is the published text and form of the AV 1611 KJV Holy Bible first edition.

KJV Holy Bibles are the most published, read and loved bibles of all time.
KJV Holy Bibles are the most published, read and loved books of all time.

Above all, we Christians are devoted to the Truth. Now one meaning for truth is that which as fidelity to the original. Thus Jesus is the Truth because He is the perfect image of God.

On the other hand, the Devil is the father of lies. We swim in an ocean of lies, falsehoods, misapprehensions and the like. Our whole life is based on discerning truth and discarding that which is unsound.

When another spirit presents us with logical fallacies, and we see others following like sheep, what are we to do?

1) Great men of God believed, therefore you should believe? If you do not know that is a logical fallacy, there is nothing more to say.

2) Must something be true if it was historically believed to be true? Is the earth flat? Does the Sun revolve around the earth.

3) Is something true because many people believed it to be true.

The KJV was a great translation and helped lead many to Christ. But today, we have the WEB based on a superior text. We have the NASB95, based on a superior text. We have the NET, the HCSB and other superior translations. None are perfect and some verses in the KJV are better translations.

But to deny the mistranslations, the willy nilly translations, the corruptions of the TR, and on and on boggles the minds of those committed to truth.

.

the TR greek text used as basis for kjv had some renderings brought into it from the Vulgate, was that also the word of God?

and which version of the Kjv is the real one< Just the 1611, 1769, 1894 or what?

Do you accept the geneva as being also a real version or not?

Where is the sound evidence for your serious accusations against Noah Webster?

Are you opposing the use of standard English spelling and standard English grammar?

I fail to see how a bunch of random, ad hoc examples from American colonial history have any bearing on the status of the text of the Bible for all Christians from all nations and all ethnicities and all dialects from all time.

What is the Purified Text Theory?? And can you actually provide evidence to substantiate your prepostery??? MSs evidence, really? What evidence supports what you dream it supports? What computational linguistics supports this theory? Who gives a rats fart about billions of Bibles sold? That argument was useless pre-Gutenburg!!!!

Hitler used the same tactics... I guess you think that if you keep repeating it, people will believe it??? Newsflash, it doesn't make it true. There is no way to prove that it is the most read nor loved.

You obviously haven't a clue. I think that most extreme KJVO folks would welcome Webster's very mild dusting as acceptable.

You keep saying the KJV "Holy" Bible. It was actually translated from ancient manuscripts. (Not as ancient as today's Bible translations are based upon,but..) But if you want to play semantics the NIV,NRSV,NASBU,NLTse and other versions are in the "Holy" camp as well.

Answer the question and state your theory of Final
Authority and Final Canonization.

The final authority on all matters theological is God. This is not a theory, this is a fact, or more accurately I believe it to be a fact.

Whatever is of truth is of God. If our perception of reality is flawed, then we are missing the mark. God has given us His revelation and we are to live by it. His revelation was written down by about 40 men, on three continents, over a period of about 1500 years. We do not have the original autographs, but by careful study we are sure we have a trustworthy and reliable version of the revelation.

Scripture teaches on discerning truth, checking what men say against what scripture says. And when men present one logical fallacy after another to support an absurd and mindless view, we are to be intolerant. God Bless

That’s silly !

All Muslims state the final authority is God.

All cults state the final authority is God.

KJV 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day
according to the scriptures.

KJV John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said,
out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

You're speaking foolishly. Werster hardly touched the body of the KJV. It can't really qualify as a real revision.

KJV Holy Bible
2 Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures,
which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith
which is in Christ Jesus.

Webster's Bible
2 Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the sacred scriptures, which are able to make thee wise to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

And what appreciable harm does Webster do in comparison with the KJV?

Is his pride showing through in the example you presented? You have to come up with something more substantial.

lol . . . oh, ok, thanks for telling me.

Apostate teachers subvert the KJV Holy Bible with Greek dictionaries.

Apostate publishers diminish the KJV Holy Bible by altering words.

Apostate scholars corrupt the KJV Holy Bible by inserting corrupt readings.

Apostate distributors replace the KJV Holy Bible with corrupt imitations.

Many have corrupted scripture, including manuscripts and reconstructed
N.T. Greek texts.

KJV 2 Corinthians 2:17 For we are not as many,
which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity,
but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

While the entire line of scripture are records, the outstanding record
of scripture and the scripture of final authority is the published text and form
of the AV 1611 KJV Holy Bible first edition.

KJV 2 Timothy 1:13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

.

Who is supposedly an apostate scholar according to a definition and standard that you will apply consistently?

Do you claim that Benjamin Blayney, editor of the 1769 Oxford edition of the KJV, was an "apostate" scholar?

Apostate teachers subvert the KJV Holy Bible with Greek dictionaries.

Apostate publishers diminish the KJV Holy Bible by altering words.

Apostate scholars corrupt the KJV Holy Bible by inserting corrupt readings.

So even if you think that;at least you're admitting that there are variations among the KJV's.

Apostate distributors replace the KJV Holy Bible with corrupt imitations.

Many have corrupted scripture, including manuscripts and reconstructed
N.T. Greek texts.

How do you define the words 'apostate" and "corrupted'?

KJV 2 Corinthians 2:17 For we are not as many,
which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity,
but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

I think the NIV rendering is more accurate:
"Unlike so many,we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary,in Christ we speak before God with sincerity,as those sent from God."

While the entire line of scripture are records, the outstanding record
of scripture and the scripture of final authority is the published text and form
of the AV 1611 KJV Holy Bible first edition.

You are delusional.

KJV 2 Timothy 1:13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

Let's get the context. Start with verse 12 and then go through verse 14. They are not individual units as your KJV may render the verses.

"That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day. What you heard from me,keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you --guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us." (NIV)

How does one know if the publisher of the KJV Bible one is reading is apostate?

Are you suggesting that we all follow your suggestion as to who an appropriate publisher, scholars, distributers are so we can be certain our copy of the KJV isn't corrupt? Do you have a list of things? If we don't follow your suggestions are you implying that we all might not be saved? And if we can be saved with our corrupt versions how do you know YOU are saved. Are you certain your copy of the KJV isn't corrupt?? With so many of them out there, how would you know???

Nonsense. If the God I serve can't preserve His words through the ages, through the translation from language to language then why should I believe He can preserve my soul beyond this lifetime? And if I can't depend on that, why should I believe at all?
