Paul never stated anywhere for the qualifications needed for a woman to be a pastor or elder, but did give to us the ones for the wives of such!Ha!
Hard to keep it all straight, isn't it?
I did ask Yeshua1/DaChaser1/JesusFan where he was getting "wife", and he did not provide a source.
Huh? What Scripture addresses specifically the Pastor/Elder's wife?Paul never stated anywhere for the qualifications needed for a woman to be a pastor or elder, but did give to us the ones for the wives of such!
Same as addresses those of a deacons wife!Huh? What Scripture addresses specifically the Pastor/Elder's wife?
While in the Old testament there were examples of godly woman leaders, such as a Debra, but she was raised up due to the general not willing to risk himself in harms way, as she told him that because of his cowardice, she would be getting the glory from the Lord rightfully his.I don’t agree with women in the Lead/Senior Pastor roles.Honestly,it’s making me nervous that there is even a thought of a woman being President of the SBC,if that happens,I would expect a huge pushback and splintering off from the SBC.
Book? chapter? verse? that addresses specifically the Pastor/Elder's wife?Paul never stated anywhere for the qualifications needed for a woman to be a pastor or elder, but did give to us the ones for the wives of such!

Whewn we get to the NT, there are NO examples given for any women assuming either pastor or elder roles in local assemblies!
