Isaiah 56:1,8; John 10:16; Isaiah 56:2-7, just to begin with.No Scripture commands non-Israelis to observe the sabbath
Then you are claiming you have no need of Jesus Christ -same as none commands us to observe passover.
Can you please rephrase the question. I did not understand what you were asking.Ok, and what of any the other 9 laws are being cited to which Jesus is including the Sabbath in those references?
Mark 10:19 (see also Matthew 19:16-30; Luke 18:18-30)Like Mark 10:19? What does Jesus say about the need to observe the Sabbath, like Matthew 24:20? And that is future.
Matthew 24:20:What does Jesus say about the need to observe the Sabbath, like Matthew 24:20? And that is future.
Says you, but not scripture. The sabbath is not part of the law of Christ.
Says you, but not scripture. It’s optional.
Surely, but what a non-sequitur, as it has nothing to do with the present subject. See Romans 13.. Romans 15:27 is a commandment!
Well, were did Jesus actually present the Sabbath, such as its command, Exodus 20:8-10, Deuteronomy 5:12-14?Can you please rephrase the question. I did not understand what you were asking.
Well, when He says to keep His Commandments to start with...Well, were did Jesus actually present the Sabbath, such as its command, Exodus 20:8-10, Deuteronomy 5:12-14?
Says you, but not scripture.
Scripture says that it is indeed very much part of the "law of Christ", which by the way was the one at Mt. Sinai and wrote it by the Holy Ghost.
Joh_1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. So, what is "the law" that "was given by Moses"?
Psa_119:142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
Psa 119:151 Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.
Not the Ten Commandments. It was that which was hand written by Moses and separate from the Ten Commandments, placed in the side of the Ark.
Says you, but not scripture.
Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Exo 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Heb 4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
Heb 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
Heb 4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
Heb 4:4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
Heb 4:5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
Heb 4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
Heb 4:7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
Heb 4:8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
Heb 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Heb 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Isa 56:1 Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
Isa 56:2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
Isa 56:3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
Isa 56:4 For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
Isa 56:5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
Isa 56:6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
Isa 56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Isa 56:8 The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.
Joh 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
&c.
Surely, but what a non-sequitur, as it has nothing to do with the present subject. See Romans 13.
Sounds delusional (a denial of reality). Scripture says:Nowhere in the New Testament are Christians commanded for observe the sabbath.
You think you have power to end the thread? Sounds more delusional (denial of reality). I am pretty sure that is for the Admins/Mods to decide.End of thread.
Matthew 5 is the explanation of the Ten Commandments in their depth:Well, were did Jesus actually present the Sabbath, such as its command, Exodus 20:8-10, Deuteronomy 5:12-14?
Sounds delusional (a denial of reality). Scripture says:
Act 4:24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
Act 14:15 And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:
Act 14:16 Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.
Act_17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Notice:
Act 15:15 And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,
Act 15:16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:
Act 15:17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.
Act 15:18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
Act 15:19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:
Act 15:20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
Act 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
Act_13:44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

I think you missed that the sabbath is central to the "spiritual" (Romans 7:14) law of God and thus actually requires the spiritual circumcision, which was what God always wanted, a cutting away of "the flesh", the carnal mind:You cannot keep the Sabbath unless you get circumcised. ....
According to the following verse I’d say that Christ had every intention that His Sabbath would still be observed after His death:
Matthew 24:20
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
The context of this verse is that Christ was warning the disciples about the destruction of Jerusalem, which occurred in 70 AD at the hands of the Roman army. Christ prophesied that this event would happen and it did. Why would Christ be concerned that people observe the Sabbath day at a time that would have been about 40 years after His death if His death was supposed to abolish it? Simple, He wouldn’t be concerned if that were the case, but since the Sabbath, like all His Commandments last forever, He was very concerned and told them to pray concerning it.
You're trying to equate the passover command given to Israel with Jesus. Won't work. Then you are claiming you have no need of Jesus Christ -
1Co_5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
Still, no command for gentiles to observe the sabbath. Col.2:16 still applies.Isaiah 56:1,8; John 10:16; Isaiah 56:2-7, just to begin with.
Surely it does, as already addressed:Col.2:16 still applies.
Powerful scriptures which both prove (in context) the perpetuity of the 7th day the sabbath and for Christians to keep holy.
