Agree with you that there are indeed 'shades" within both cals/Arms!

Just curious...

What do you think about Amyralism? that is my viewpoint at the present time!

I commend you for "at the present time", it says to me that you seek to be intellectually and spiritually open. No matter where you go theologically in your life maintain a gentle and humble countenance. Blessings brother.

Yes, those were all meant in pure fun. I am very secure in my beliefs, someone calling me a heretic, or a blasphemer, or having a dark wicked heart does not shake my faith in what I believe, I actually get a chuckle out of it.

So, if any Calvinist got their feelings hurt by my jokes, I apologize.

Well, as you know, I'm one, and I wasn't offended at all. Now, I think calling some a heretic or blasphemer while trying to be funny is not funny at all. I'll reserve those for more serious discussions.

In the meantime, I reserve the right to make fun at your views and grant you the same right regarding mine.

A performer named Tom Lehrer wrote a funny piece called "The Vatican Rag." You can google it and hear him sing it. Even Catholics should see the humor in this:

Lehrer:
Another big news story of year concerned the ecumenical council in Rome, known as Vatican II. Among the things they did in an attempt to make the church more commercial was to introduce the vernacular into portions of the mass, to replace Latin, and to widen somewhat the range of music permissible in the liturgy, but I feel that if they really want to sell the product, in this secular age, what they ought to do is to redo some of the liturgical music in popular song forms. I have a modest example here. It's called The Vatican Rag.

First you get down on your knees,
Fiddle with your rosaries,
Bow your head with great respect,
And genuflect, genuflect, genuflect!

Do whatever steps you want, if
You have cleared them with the Pontiff.
Everybody say his own
Kyrie eleison,
Doin' the Vatican Rag.

Get in line in that processional,
Step into that small confessional,
There, the guy who's got religion'll
Tell you if your sin's original.
If it is, try playin' it safer,
Drink the wine and chew the wafer,
Two, four, six, eight,
Time to transubstantiate!

So get down upon your knees,
Fiddle with your rosaries,
Bow your head with great respect,
And genuflect, genuflect, genuflect!

Make a cross on your abdomen,
When in Rome do like a Roman,
Ave Maria,
Gee it's good to see ya,
Gettin' ecstatic an'
Sorta dramatic an'
Doin' the Vatican Rag

He has not made man into a robot as Calvinists portray him to be. He desires that man would receive the gift of salvation and worship God out of his own free will, and not be forced to do it as a robot would be forced to obey his master. The latter is unproven Calvinistic drivel.
DHK:"Drivel? Well, that is just your opinion. Words like that portray what kind of opinion (and character) a person has." 4/11/08

Like has already been posted.

The OP is quite laughable, until you realize that some have used the very same arguments and boasted the validity of such.
