Does present tense ring a bell?
To claim the statement means my kingdom is not and never will be upon this earth is agenda driven nonsense.
And now, Christ hath risen out of the dead -- the first-fruit of those sleeping he became, for since through man is the death, also through man is a rising again of the dead, for even as in Adam all die, so also in the Christ all shall be made alive, 1 Cor 15:20-22 YLT
Is, a rising again, a being made alive, the regeneration of something?
Matt 19:28 YLT And Jesus said to them, 'Verily I say to you, that ye who did follow me [a first-fruit Christ] in the regeneration, when the Son of Man may sit upon a throne of his glory, shall sit -- ye also -- upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel;
Is there an order to this being made alive, this rising again out of the dead, the ones sleeping?
1 Cor 15:23 YLT and each in his proper order [being made alive, a rising out of the dead], a first-fruit Christ [V 20], afterwards those who are the Christ's, in his presence, [when the Son of Man may sit upon a throne of his glory] shall sit judging, ruling with him
Rev 20:4 YLT And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them, and the souls of those who have been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus, and because of the word of God, and who did not bow before the beast, nor his image, and did not receive the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand, and they did live [afterwards those who are the Christ's, in his presence, be made alive 1C15:22] and reign with Christ the thousand years; [In the kingdom of his glory Matt 19:28]
Rev 20:5 1st part and the rest of the dead did not live again till the thousand years may be finished
1 Cor 15:24 then [the rest of the dead Rev 20:13 and the sea did give up those dead in it, and the death and the hades did give up the dead in them, and they were judged, each one according to their works;] -- the end, when he may deliver up the reign to God, even the Father, when he may have made useless all rule, and all authority and power --

Eph 1:9,10 YLT having made known to us [See V's 3-8 the ones to rule with him when he comes in the kingdom of his glory Matt 19:28 the first after Christ of the order of being made alive, regenerated] the secret of His will, according to His good pleasure, that He purposed in Himself, in regard to the dispensation of the fulness of the times, to bring into one the whole in the Christ, both the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth -- in him;
Then Rev 21 and 22

Heb 2:6 YLT and one in a certain place did testify fully, saying, 'What is man, that Thou art mindful of him, or son of man, that Thou dost look after him?
14 Seeing, then, the children have partaken of flesh and blood, he himself also in like manner did take part of the same, that through death he might destroy him having the power of death -- that is, the devil --
Romans 16:20 and the God of the peace shall bruise the Adversary under your feet quickly [in quickness by being alive, rising out of the dead]; the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen!

My favorite commentary on the book of Revelation is More Than Conquerors by William Hendriksen. I think that it matches up well when taking the Bible as a whole.

I do not think you clarified whether you accept that Jesus will rule on earth from David's throne for 1000 years.
"...Hendricksen's approach is what he called "progressive parallelism". What he meant by this is that each section or chapter of the book should be understood to be synchronous with later chapters in the book, hence the parallelism. The things revealed in later chapters are just deeper illuminations of earlier chapters, a progressive revelation. It should not be read like a novel, where the events in one chapter chronologically precede the events in a following chapter. For example, Hendricksen believes that Revelation 20 more thoroughly describes events that are synchronous with events initially described in chapter 12...."

Folks, did you see whether the poster accepts the Millennial Kingdom or says the Bible does not really mean what it says? Neither did I.
Where is Jesus right now, according to scripture. Sitting at the right hand of God in heaven and within every born anew believer.
Where will Jesus be during the Millennial Kingdom? Sitting on David's throne on earth reigning for 1000 years.

Issue = Belief the Bible means what it says concerning Jesus reigning for 1000 years on earth from David's throne.
Position = Van, Piper, Percho say the Bible discloses the Millennial Kingdom Dispensation occurring on earth.
Naysayers = obfuscation, via subject change as their view is indefensible.
