Trump was “in favor of transgender bathrooms ~ In The Light

"...which was not true of his intent. – This has been made clear now that Trump rescinded the order proving the NeverTrumpers got it wrong but some still don’t have the integrity to admit they were wrong…" ~ Benjamin

Repeat: "The Things a NeverTrumper with Yet, what Trump was really saying was to leave it alone but NeverTrumpers had the opportunity to twist his words by subtracting the greater context so they did. Now that he’s in office he has rescinded Obama’s order for transgender bathrooms. Again, Trump was saying the issue should be left to the states (left alone), he wisely didn’t want to get into the middle of the issue during an election (any reasonable person could conclude this) as it shouldn’t be a federal issue and his point was there have been very few issues so leave it the way it is (while knowing anything he said would be twisted and used against him). Regardless, NeverTrumpers translated the meaning into that Trump was “in favor of transgender bathrooms ~ In The Light” which was not true of his intent. – This has been made clear now that Trump rescinded the order proving the NeverTrumpers got it wrong but some still don’t have the integrity to admit they were wrong…

Not at all. Trump said he was OK with transgendered bathrooms. He's flip-flopped his position (again.)

That’s a very cheap and rather dishonest argument. Trump has said he is a Christian, spoke of his denominational affiliation, professed his faith in God on several occasions, plans to undo the Johnson Amendment, favors Christian refugees and condemns their persecutions being ignored, plans to bring back and protect free Christian speech, praised his wife giving the Lord’s Prayer, yet NeverTrumpers love to say and hold to that Trump isn’t Christian because of one instance in an interview where he misspoke of forgiveness. NeverTrumpers should have the integrity to admit they are wrong about their judgment of Trump’s heart as evidenced by his movements. Shameful...
I've seen many people in the church who profess to be Christians but their life does not show the regenerative impact of a true born-again experience. Easy believerism is widespread today.

Christ is the Vine. We Christians are the branches. God is looking for the fruit of righteousness in our lives, the fruit that is the image of His Son. The image of Christ is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. These are the characteristics of Christ and of the Kingdom of God.

As we abide in Christ His godly image begins to appear in our personality and also in the personalities of those to whom we are ministering. We are bringing forth righteousness and praise, the godliness of the Kingdom, in our own lives and in the lives of others.

The reason God has joined us to Christ is that we may bring forth the fruit of righteousness in our lives. When the nations of the earth witness our righteous behavior they will glorify God.

God has called us to be the moral light of the world. If we do not exhibit righteousness and praise in our life, God will remove us from Christ. "Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away."

If the image of Christ is not revealed in our personality we stand in danger of being removed from God’s Vine.

I'm not the judge but all of us will be judged by the Lord one glorious day. Trump has not demonstrated any of the characteristics of a born-again believer. Talk is cheap and Trump has used a fake profession of faith for political gain. You're correct. In no way do I consider him to be a Christian.

How many times have we heard from NeverTrumpers the accusation that, “Trump is not a Christian.”?

They are not wrong on this. Actions and words of President Trump reveal he has yet to be reconciled under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

he can't be to them, as many see him as being antichrist?
To be fair and equitable, many people who voted for Trump thought former President Obama was the antichrist. [emoji57]

Me, I suspect the Antichrist lives in Tahiti. [emoji8]

NeverTrumpers said, “Trump is not a true conservative” and often suggested along with that argument that Trump would backflip on what he said of his conservative views and appointments.

Yet, Trump has put into place one of the most conservative staffs this country has ever seen and nominated a SCOTUS that is beyond question a constitutional conservative.
He's a Democrat. We all know it. [emoji109]

You judge him then you deny it:

"I'm not the judge but all of us will be judged by the Lord one glorious day".
"In no way do I consider him to be a Christian".

Let him who is without sin...
