Maybe if we had brought on global warming much sooner, the tragedy would never have happened.
Anyway, we've had a quarter century, since the discovery, of dives and studies, a few items brought up, some conflicts solved (e.g., whether the ship did in fact break up at sinking), some new speculations, and last year the final survivor passed away, who was only 2 months old at the time of sinking. Maybe if the world lasts for thousands of years yet, it may become a legend, like the Trojan Horse, and historians will wonder whether it really happened, as the evidence won't be there for proof. But there's nothing we can do about it. And God also created those iron-eating organisms.
