thats more like it. i just cant see how the Red Sox are WORLD champs if the only teams in the world are in N. America. like in soccer, no team outside Europe can beat Liverpool or AC Milan, who play in the final soon. are they world champs? no, EUROPEAN champions

Who should you pull for? It depends on what you want?

Cubs - If you want your heart broken every year.

Royals, Devil Rays, or Blue Jays - If you want your heart broken every day.

Braves - If your goal is to win the division, but not the Series.

Astro - If you like really weird outfields.

Giants - If you want to cheer for Barry Bonds. (No really, that's his normal bicep size).

Red Sox - If your want your team to win a Series every century or so. They give new meaning to back to back to back.

Dodgers - If you want to cheer for a team with the best hot dogs (nothing beats a Dodger Dog).

Yankees - If you want to cheer for overpaid whiners with an obnoxious owner.

Rockies, Brewers, or Cardinals - If you want to cheer for a team that supports breweries (not a very Baptist thing to do).

Or, if you want to cheer for the team with the best ratio of winning the series: The Florida Marlins.

The Cardinals are no longer owned by the Busch family. Yes it is Busch Stadium, but it is named after the family not the brewery. Busch Stadium is no different than Wrigley Field. Coors Field and Miller Park sold the naming rights to their stadiums. There is a difference.

Let me ask you again, what about the Orioles? or the Nationals? Now there's two teams just begging for your support.

Sign me up. I want to cheer for overpaid whiners with an obnoxious owner. To quote George Jones, "They're hotter than a two dollar pistol."

Sentimentally I like the Detroit Tigers, as my dad was one for a short time.

    I like the Mariners now.

I was a die hard Yankees fan till G. Steinbrenner. Had all the baseball cards, several times over.

Got to see the Yanks beat the Angels, Ford pitched, Micky hit a homer, got a team autographed ball. I was about 10 years old.

The Russell Trojans of Russell High School, Russell, Iowa, graduating class of 10. I'm coaching them. I'll let you know tomorrow how we did in the opener.

Being a native Texan, I support the Astros  and Rangers [IMG]
However, my sympathetic favorite is the Nationals. It is hard to believe that baseball is back in our Capital after more than 30 yrs.

    How about them Rangers?
Is Kenny Rogers the most under-rated pitcher in AL?

    The answers are obvious:

The White Sox! No real all-star postiton players, yet they have the best record in baseball. If that's not teamwork...

The Red Sox. Tim Wakefield is the most exciting pitcher of our era with his butterfly.

The Orioles. You gotta love those uniforms

I'll have to admit that when I first viewed the Oriole uniform,I didn't know if they were baseball players or I'd hit the wrong channel selector.
