I like The Andy Griffith show, but all Andy does is tell lies. That man tells the most lies. He will lie about anything. Just pick an episode and count how many lies he tells.

I notice Cliff Huxtable (The Cosby Show) is first on the January 2014 TV Guide list, but not mentioned in Newsmax's "List of the Best TV Dads of All Time" in 2020. I wonder if that is more about PC surrounding the actor than the actual show itself.

I thought Lucas McCain (the Rifleman) should have been among the highest. I disagree with Newsmax's view of "Uncle Bill" from Family Affair as a great father figure. He was far too permissive and lax on discipline.
