It was put together from 1898 to 1901 or so. Mostly laymen (women included) were responsible for the project. It turned out well surprisingly.

Here are a few snips from Romans.

1:18 : who,by their wicked lives,are stifling the truth
1:27 : incurred in their own persons the inevitable penalty of their perverseness
2:8,9 : wrath and anger, distress and dispair, will fall upon every human being who persists in wrong-doing
2:15 : their consciences corrobating it
3:3 : but will their want of faith make God break faith?
3:12 : they have one and all become depraved
5:14 : Adam foreshadows the One to come
6:14 : Sin shall not lord it over you
7:13 : the Commndment showed how intensely sinful sin is
7:14 : the Law is spiritual,but I am earthly
8:31 : in light of all of this? If God is on our side, who can there be against us?
9:19 : For who withstands his purpose?
12:2 : Do not conform to the fashion of this world.
12:4 : in the human body there is a union of many parts
12:10 : set an example of deference to one another
14:13 : Rather let this be your resolve
15:19 : starting from Jerusalem and its neighborhood
