Reporters in the foreground often have video from the control center playing in the background. Who said that the scene in the background was live?

That thing behind her is called a window.

Need to go to the producer of that segment. "Live" could have been on the screen when that segment was recorded. The reporter could be "live". I'm not convinced. Five people see an automobile collision involving two cars. A third car comes along and collides with those two. You'll get eight different accounts of what happened, at least.

p.s. Rumsfield didn't say the 2.3 trillion was missing. He said it couldn't be accounted for. That's pretty horrible bookkeeping, at worst.
That's pretty horrible bookkeeping at best. At worst it's been used for things it ought not to have been used for or been placed into the pockets of people that ought not to have had it.

BREAKING NEWS! BB poster proves where money went:

News at 6!! (Live - no windows!)

Maybe, or maybe just acting cowardly to not watch the 10 minute video. ;)

I believe the word "cowardly" is misapplied here, and I'm surprised you used it. It hardly takes courage to watch a silly video. Having masochistic tendencies is a better description.

I'm not in the habit of playing hypothetical games nor watching "documentaries" that are based on innuendo and supposition.

When someone establishes a real and proven connection between all the theories and some hard facts, I'll listen. Until then, I find those that subscribe to such "theories" either gullible beyond belief or agenda driven and desperate.

They spend most of their time trying to make the facts fit the theory instead of the theory fit the facts.

I wasn't aware you were one of them.

Yup. Ken has worn many hats, here. How disappointing to see his latest head covering appears to be made from tin foil.

I have heard the so-called theory about the news teams reporting a building collapse before it happened and that is where it all fails for me.

You really think that Bush has people working for his agenda all over the world in various news teams? These presenters are not high political figures, they are ordinary people with shiny white teeth and a good reading voice.

Did you watch the video?

I can do some more research into what WTC-7 looked like from that vantage point but I'm pretty familiar with NYC having lived there for almost 30 years. It looks like WTC-7 to me. What does it look like to you?

Neither am I. I was not aware that news reports and the description of events by various people who had just escaped from the twin towers on 9/11/2001 are innuendo and supposition.

Hardly. I watched the 10 minute video which consisted of news reports and description of events by those who escaped the carnage on 9/11/2001. Are you accusing the people who escaped from the twin towers of lying?

Physical evidence or eyewitness testimony is needed. Earwitness testimony has to be considered questionable, all things considered. Can you tell what caused an exposion just by hearing one?

Someone needs to prove that they know for certain what they heard and then prove that it caused the buildings to fall.

Otherwise the conclusions drawn by conspiracy theorists are merely innuendo and supposition.

The conspiracy theory is that 19 arabs, 15 of them Saudis conspired together and attacked the United States of America using planes as weapons. This of course has never been proven (beyond the theory) despite the fact that the government has grabbed massive amounts of power and control, reduced our liberties, grown twice it's size, put us closer to financial ruin and launched two invasions and occupations in Afghanistan and Iraq, opening a third front in Somalia while alienating much of the world against us and coming up with the "legal reasoning" of a "unitary decidership" in the USA all based on this one still unproven conspiracy theory.

Poncho, thank you for answering my question directly; I've been away and just now getting back to this thread to check it out, and still haven't had time to research any of this further.

Two things: Other than the website with the OP video, do you recommend any sites that proffer the conspiracy theory, as you see it? Also, do I understand you right that you are saying that the "conspiracy theory" is NOT a theory that someone else has about an alternative explanation about 9/11....but, rather, the GOVERNMENT is the one that has produced an imaginary conspiracy theory about the arabs attacking America with planes--that no planes were involved and the arab/muslim angle is a myth? Like I said, I've been living under a rock for awhile, but I have not heard that before at all.

Thanks.

Likewise, any of you who do not put any stock in the OP video--can you recommend any websites in particular that I could check for the flipside of this story? I figure if I type in "conspiracy theory 9/11" that I'll get 22 million possible sites on google!

Thanks!

I've watched videos and read articles on the issues in question here and I am not convinced there is a conspiracy. Maybe it is partly because I do not want to believe, I'll admit that much. But it is mostly because for me the facts do not add up to the con that is being advocated here.

Here is a series of very good articles written on the conspiracies.

Thank you for these links. It will take days for me to wade through all this, but wade through them, I will.

yea that is the best link out of all of them. But the Popular mechanics link is great as well

You guys need to stay away from those sites that present actual facts. That's not fair on a conspiracy thread.:BangHead:

I'm going to go out on a limb here and take this to mean that you don't go for those particular theories, huh?
